There were Three major feasts in the Old Testament.
Every man in Israel was required to keep all three of
these feasts.
The Feast of Passover – The Feast of Pentecost – The Feast of Tabernacles
These were but a type and a shadow of what would fully come. Jesus is the Passover Lamb, which was slain
for the sins of the world. During Passover we learn all about Jesus. When the Feast of Passover had fully
come Jesus knew his hour had come to be crucified.
John 13:1 Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should
depart out of this world… (KJV)
When the Feast of Pentecost had fully come, the Holy Spirit was revealed to the world according to the
Bible. During the Feast of Pentecost we learn all about the Holy Spirit. We learn about the gifts and fruits of the
Holy Spirit etc.
It’s no coincidence that God the Father would Reveal Himself during the Feast of Tabernacles! We expect to
learn more about our heavenly Father during Tabernacles. The Feast of Tabernacles has Not Fully come yet.
But we are expecting it at any time now.
During Passover we learned about Jesus.
During Pentecost we learned about the Holy Spirit.
During Tabernacles we will learn about the Father.
When God glorifies the physical body of the "Overcomers" or the "Sons of God," then the Feast of Tabernacles
will have fully come. All creation is currently waiting for this event. God’s GLORY will dwell in the Physical
Bodies which are Not made with Hands! We must go beyond Passover and Pentecost. We are now at the end
of the Pentecost age and are on the threshold of Tabernacles. We must prepare for the New thing God is
about to do.
THE FULLNESS OF THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES
"The TABERNACLE OF GOD is with MEN!"

Revelation 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, The Tabernacle of God is with Men,

and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them…KJV)

Revelation 18:1 I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the Earth was

Lightened with his Glory. (KJV)

Revelation 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the Glory of God

did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

There are 30 - 60 and 100 fold Christians. Some will become One with Jesus and the Father. Some will
actually sit IN God’s Throne! These will not die but be translated into the Melchizedek Priesthood. They’ll
receive the full Glory of the Father in their Body and Shine Like the Sun even as Jesus does!
Matthew 13:43 Then the Righteous will Shine like the Sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Let anyone with
ears listen! (NRSV)
Jesus has a Glorified Body and some day you will meet him and be able to shake hands with him, embrace
him and personally thank him face to face! When we see Jesus, "We shall be Like Him!" And remember that
Jesus "is Like Melchizedek" the Father!
The Father is the same way. Some day you will meet him and he will embrace you! He loves you with an
everlasting Love. The Father is approachable and he is lovable. The true nature of the Father is Love,
Mercy and Forgiveness. That’s the highest nature of God. We need to get to know the Most High God in a
more personal way than ever before. The Most High God is El-Elyon, and when we see the Father, "We
shall be like Him too!" We all shall be ONE!

Chris Welch: Readers will know I post related articles from different authors. One of the other authors on this subject is David Swan.
Because we are brought up in linear thinking, we are taught that THIS = THAT.
In the Spirit, Jesus was always saying...."and if you should believe it...Elijah is already come", for example speaking about John the Baptist. Jesus saw things as cycles and patterns. Wheels within wheels.
THIS is not exclusively THAT, it is a type of this or that. Is a pattern of this or that.
It's a different way of thinking.

I believe that many of the things in this article that EE Brooks is seeing its finalised form are themes that are already appearing on the Earth, materializing out of heaven right now....which remember is the Eternal NOW.
So it's natural we start focussing on Jesus in the flesh....Andre Rabe's subjects which state God in flesh was the ORIGINAL plan, not a runner's up prize.

Heaven operates by believing what we cannot see about what is NOW true in the Eternal Now. Then we see what we believe.

Hi Chris,

Ah the human body! Sounds rather painful so I hope you're mending. What does that mean in terms of your business?

Very much enjoyed your latest blog. For me anyway seemed to be very clear.

Last year sometime I ran into furrowed brows when I tried to speak about the bread in communion, so it brought back memories.

I wouldn't claim to have really got hold of it entirely but 'This is my body' is such an evocative phrase. Memorable and familiar to those of us with a liturgical past or present, ingrained in the repeating music of priests week by week, like 'Our Father who art...'. It kind of washes over you and leaving an impression but not necessarily much revelation.

Some maybe, familiar with the Protestant/Catholic argument, transubstantiation and all, may feel that the argument describes the real fault lines whereas it may be that the fault line really exposes the weakness of the underpinning strata. If so we need to explore further back and not dwell on the argument itself i.e. that Jesus was speaking literally in some sense - leading to the Catholic view, or figuratively - leading to the protestant view.

But what if Jesus was speaking chemically?

Drink eat. The wine and the bread are ingested and become us. So what does it mean to allow the blood to become us? And the body? Is it that we have become walking talking christs embodying forgiveness and the life of Christ for others. So 'communion' isn't simply a celebration of what Christ has done for us but is also a celebration of what He has become in us. So it is representational but not limited to describing the terms of covenantal membership but describes the members themselves as real space-time manifestations of that covenant.

Do this in remembrance of me. We have been transformed, crucified and raised into a new creation 'a new species' a la CS Lewis. And who enabled that to happen? The 12 with Jesus for that meal were perhaps charged in a unique way and finally became the outworking fulfilment of Israel to be a light to te Gentiles. Remembering is a spiritual living thing not simply a memory. It is active - like 'put on Christ' we clear out of our systems anything that would rise up to contradict the truth that has been accomplished in us. We can forget, that is lose hold of these things and sometimes we need to be brought back to the startling truth that is finished it has been done and so on. Repentance in that sense not to do with specific moral failure but letting go or turning away from anything other than the truth of the gospel to influence our lives.

Until I come. Well there's something. We go about the earth carrying the dying of the Lord Jesus that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our body (blood and bread). And when that day comes. What a day it will be. However long that day is. The Son of God caught up with the sons of God. All revealed just what He accomplished through dying as a seed and being raised up many times over. True brothers. Like Him in every way. It is finished will be fully understood through and through.

Wondering whether a 2012 Portsmouth pilgrimage may be on. There'd have to be a decent curry at the end of the journey to bring it to fulfilment I suspect?

Chris Welch: The way Daniel Yordy and I would talk about the Bride would be like this....and we have a reason to talk this way. You see if in the 70s and 80s you were in a set of related churches to Ed Miller, or to Sam Fife...or maybe to an extent to Jorge Pradas who learned a lot from Ed...you would talk in terms of this special breed called the Bride. The problem with it is a kind of flesh elitism.

Anything we get hold of we have to get in the Spirit. If there is even a smidgen of double eye seeing (ie not the single eye Jesus is on about) we end up preaching some form of Jesus PLUS, which is works.
Or in Galations it is referred to as bewitching.

So how do we address the scriptures? Well the heart of God is a wide open embrace. It is grace. But what Daniel and I would say is that the growth of Jesus within us is a 3 stage affair as in 1 John 2:12 ff and the description we have in Revelation 12 is just a reworking of the three growth stages towards a mature man.

You see the Bride is that MANIFEST WOMAN in the earth, the Counterpart of Jesus, the first example of what this new breed "the Son of man " looks like. (He is the firstborn of many brethren...and He is not ashamed to call us brethren.) So lets look at the revelation verse "and they overcame Him through the Blood,by the Word of their testimony and by loving their lives not unto death.

The Child stage is an appreciation of the total grace of Christ through this shed Blood. The next stage is proclaiming the Word about all Jesus says about us in the new creation, until we are so settled in our believing we launch forth into the Father stage of our commissioning on earth.This is costly, but because we now KNOW who we are, we are prepared to enter into costly "laying our life down...if necessary unto death...in many diverse ways to see our commissions come to pass."

Such a people who actually do this stuff are MANIFESTING the FULL BRIDAL Life that Jesus put inside us. About 50 years ago people talked in terms of Wurmbrand ,Nee, Corrie Ten Boom and all these types as special. But this was poppycock. They were just believers who worked with the seed Jesus had given them, since His divine seed it says in Peter,has all the divine power and grace necessary to bring this Life forth in us.

And knowing all this stuff deep in our Spirit keeps us right out of that elitest crap that Daniel and and I suffered for nearly 20 years. We KNOW of which we speak, and we know the updates the Holy Spirit has spoken so we never have churches like that again!!!

yesturday we gave out sanitary towels to 998 girls in the uba west area it was an amazing turn out and girls had a voice to their problems and struglers we had the disabled group and the widows and girl child education represented God was so amazing as to how this came about through the K24 and MTV news and ben who filmed it and the NGO group who facilitated us. Incarnated Christ forms as they emerge each generation, always look too fleshly, too derived to their spiritual forebears.The fact that spiritual forebears have believed this substance into being for centuries does not seem to tip any humans off, when they live according to the flesh.

Yes. So one whole generation of Esaus under the name of Jews, missed Jesus completely, and the gospel got put on ice in the Jewish world, while the Gentiles were getting the message....and totally undeservingly.

Christians (some of them) have enjoyed the revelation of the God of Isaac, which is "the wells of salvation", the acts and experiences of the Holy Spirit anointing upon flesh
But Christians have no clue about anything more than this. That God is the God of Jacob, which is the crux of the whole point of why God put man on earth, Christians have absolutely no revelation of whatsoever, and anyway their cucumber sandwiches taste nice , and hey, we'ver just won another round of bingo.

So the same Esau, Jacob transition is happening right now.
The people the full blessing should have gone to , namely Christians , are being bypassed
for the "Fulness of the Gentiles"

the people who couldnt really care less
the people who shouldnt be allowed anywhere near God at all

The only thing that increases with the GRACE outpoured, is the Rise of Evil into one HUGE AXIS, which like a black hole will suck anything attached to you that is of the same substance into it and like Judas experienced , pull you into it as well.

So as Jesus said, Brothers shall rise up against brothers. People shall kill you and think they are doing God's will.
Because as history comes to its conclusion there is a great revealing, and apocalypse. The cloth is coming off. There is the revealing of the Man without Sin. Jesus Christ in His Body.
And there is the Revealing of the man of Sin.
Who according to the original Daniel chapters above
seems to be run with "apostate Jews" at the head. Caballist jews who have sold their hearts to follow who they believe is a worthy leader....Lucifer.
Theirs is a kingdom that rises in silence and stealth. It is here now, but nobody realises. Daniel describes it as clay mixed awkwardly with iron. You see, for millennia, things have remained exactly the same. The Ancient Doors of psalm 24 have just sat there in opposition to the Kingdom of God being manifest openly in God's Earth.

Perception and Identity by Rich Novek

Between 1983 and 1986 I prayed a prayer which was prescribed to me by a dear friend;
“Lord, bring me to the end of myself and give me a revelation of who I am IN Christ!”
For us to know who we are God has to break through certain engrained religious barriers. Barriers built by a wrong perception of who Christ is and just as important, who we are IN Him.
Identity and perception are everything, and if one or the other is skewed in any way, we become like a ship heading for the rocks when every outward indication says “safe seas” ahead! What the Apostle Paul called being shipwrecked in our faith.
For generations the church has been ineffective in it’s worldwide influence.
I believe what I am sharing today is the key!
And He fed you Manna which neither you or your Father’s knew. (Deuteronomy 8:3)
This Manna is a perception of Christ, not known by past generations because of a people who walked with a double mind and double heart towards God.
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! No man can serve “two” masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (Mathew 6:22-24)
It’s that same “double minded” perception of God, in believing we can serve God and serve our own self interests, which is the reason many believers today don’t know the reality of who God is or who they are IN Christ!
Perception, what I see, and Identity, who I am. Is there anything that could be more important to a people who love God with all their hearts, yet at the same time are afraid to approach Him as the loving Father He is?
When we hold to the belief of a so called gospel that promotes our working for Him in order to receive from Him, we get a picture of God that looks more like a child abuser or task master than a loving Father! I spent most of 2011 recovering from a deadly infection in my spine and the loss of a kidney. An illness that landed me on my back in pain for 77 days. Because of my illness, my wife and I earned less than $5000 in 2011, yet God sustained us by His Grace alone! In 2010 we faced another severe trial that could have landed us in prison, and through no fault of our own! And yet God rescued us again by His marvelous Grace!
I have a REAL relationship with a REAL God, and this by knowing Him and knowing who He is IN me, not by following the law or the historical traditions of men.
Over my 30 year journey (to hell and back) I have suffered the loss of everything several times. And it wasn’t during seasons of comfort and ease I learned the reality of who I am IN Christ, but in the long seasons of pain, suffering, loss, brokenness, and isolation!

He trained us first, passed us like silver through refining fires, brought us into hardscrabble country, pushed us to our very limit, road-tested us inside and out, took us to hell and back; Finally he brought us to this well-watered place. (Psalm 66:10-12 Message)

He has wonderfully redefined so many things I once thought were the whole truth, but NOW know are only partial truths found in a partial gospel.

Letter to Arthur and Denise Blessitt

Arthur and Denise,

I've just come out of a hernia op after tossing pianos for 30 years. Interestingly I was born in Ghana to British

science teacher parents with a pyloric stenosis, a block in my stomach. I now have a scar from my birth running into

another scar where they did the hernia. I am a human zip.

Why is this all relevant? Well a subtle change has to occur concerning the Cross and the Church.

Watch this. In Revelation it says how the Word is sweet to the taste, but in the stomach it is exceedingly bitter.

As a broad generalisation the Church for 2000 years has taken the "sweet pill" of the cross, the forgiveness, the amazing free grace

of Christ ....but as it was ingested, this Word was never carried through all the digestion system. There has been a blockage.

The church has had a pyloric stenosis....and who knows...even a hernia.

Our perception of the Cross has been the blood of Christ. But ask anyone during a communion what on earth

the bread is about, and you'll find everyone's eyebrows become furrowed? Or at best some well instructed Bible lover

will return a reply which is straight off the top of his head. Straight out of his thinking, but absolutely no revelation at all.

As a general rule, nobody "gets" Galations 2:20. The I have been crucified with Christ bit.

Even on TBN you should be fine talking about the forgiveness through the Blood of Christ, but go any further and you'll get problems.

I have confidence in you guys, that you have taken the Cross further. That it is not merely a forgiveness emblem to you.

Jesus took every single one of us, every last trace of the whole Adamic order into death in His Body. We were all there.

We talk of God's love, but actually Jesus set His face. He was ruthless. He so hated Arthur Denise and Chris that, without asking

us beforehand, before we ever knew anything about it, He pulled all of us into His Body death with Him and took us all to the Eternal municipal

waste dump, and incase there were any signs of life and struggle, kept us in His death for 3 whole days. He finished us completely.

Then the Father made a sign to the Holy Spirit to come and give life to His mortal Body. Only, Jesus caught us up in Him as well.

And the Greek for "hidden with Christ in God" is "interleaved" like the Viennetta ice creams Denise will know. We are so interleaved with Christ

nobody has a clue where He starts and we finish. And this is the meaning behind John 17. This is the Body death of the Communion.

This is the anchor we have in Hebrews which means we're gonna make it as Christians.

Except nobody knows.Somehow Arthur you knew. Cant understand how on earth you picked that up in the States?

They know about the forgiveness bit and like a sweet morsel of food they ingest that bit, but virtually the whole church leaves it at that. That is all they know. Somehow Arthur, you picked up it was more than that. You see unless the Word passes

right through us,and is fully ingested, the world never sees Christ in Arthur and Denise form walking around. All they see is sinner Arthur and Denise continuallyasking forgiveness from one Sunday to the next. And this is why it is so hard to get more evangelists. Because, as marvellous as it is to be forgiven, you are still the same sinners, even though born again, and you feel fraudulent going around telling people about a salvation that only half works. So this is why Rheinhard Bonnke, Morris Cerullo and yourselves waste so much energy trying to raise

up evangelists. it's exhausting.

Jesus has a better plan. Kill them all and raise them on the 3rd day! How ruthless!

Yes, but how effective!. And 3000 were added the first day.

But Arthur wasnt working up a sweat trying to raise more evangelists! Nope. On the day of Acts Arthur was nowhere to be seen

but somehow God still managed it!

For more than twenty years L. Ron Hubbard, Jr., has been a man on the run. He has changed residences, occupations, and even his name in 1972 to Ron DeWolf to escape what he alleges to be the retribution and wrath of his father and his father's organization-- the Church of Scientology. His father, L. Ron Hubbard. Sr., founder and leader of Scientology, has been a figure of controversy and mystery, as has been his organization, for more than a generation. Its detractors have called it the "granddaddy" and the worst of all the religious cults that have sprung up over the last generation. Its advocates-- and there are thousands--swear that the church is the avenue for human perfection and happiness. Millions of words have been written for and against Scientology. Just what is the truth?

L. Ron Hubbard, Sr., and the very few who have worked at the highest echelons of the organization have never spoken publicly about the workings and finances of the Church of Scientology. Firsthand allegations about coercion, black-mail, and just how billions of dollars the organization is said to possess have been accrued and spent is lacking: that is, until very recently. In an extraordinary petition brought November 10, 1982, in Superior Court in Riverside, Calif., by L. Ron Hubbard, Jr., to prove that his father is dead and that his heirs should receive the tens of millions of dollars being dissipated from his estate, some of the mystery about Scientology has begun to unravel. Some of the details are shocking.

L. Ron Hubbard, Jr., is a survivor. His appearance on earth, May 7, 1934, was the result of failed abortion rituals by his father, and Ron, after only six and a half months in the womb and at 2.2 pounds entered the world. His mother, Margeret ("Polly") Grubb, was to have one more child, Catherine May, before her husband ditched her in 1946 to enter into a bigamous marnage with Sarah Northrup. A half sister, Alexis Valerie, survived that union. Soon after that, the founder of Scientology married Mary Sue Whipp, the current Mrs. L. Ron Hubbard, Sr., who at this writing is serving four years in federal prison for stealing government documents. There were four childrens: Diana and Quentin, who died under mysterious circumstances in 1976; Arthur, who has been missing for several years; and Suzette.

Ron Jr. says that he remembers much of his childhood. He claims to recall, at six years, a vivid scene of his father performing an abortion ritual on his mother with a coat hanger. He remembers that when he was ten years old, his father, in an attempt to get his son in tune with his black-magic worship, laced the young hubbard's bubble gum with phenobarbital. Drugs were an important part of Ron Jr.'s growing up, as his father believed that they were the best way to get closer to Satan --the Antichrist of black magic.

Ron Jr. also recalls a hard-drinking, drug-abusing father who would mistreat his mother and other women, but who, when, under the influence, would delight in telling his son all of his exploits. Finally, Ron Jr. remembers his father as a "broke science-fiction writer" who espoused that the road to riches and glory lay in selling religion to the masses.

Nineteen fifty was a watershed year for the sixteen-year-old Ron Jr., when his father's book Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health was published. While in the 1980s self-help books hold little novelty, Dianetics was a pioneer of that genre. Happiness in 1950 could be a reality, if only one practiced the strange amalgam of science fiction and psychoanalysis offered in the senior Hubbard's best-seller. It was an unexpected success for Hubbard, then living in New Jersey, when the mailman would deliver daily sacks of letters from the unhappy and desperate who had read the book and wanted L. Ron Hubbard to take them to the promised land. It was a dream come true --a science-fiction writer who not only created a world of fantasy but packaged it and sold it as reality.

In 1950 L. Ron Hubbard opened a Dianetics clinic, where the hopeful and newly cenverted could come, for a fee, and their ills --from loneliness to cancer --would be cured. Danetics was the new Scientific Revolution. and L. Ron Hubbard was its prophet.

Scientology is essentially a self-help therapy. It is based on one premise that by recalling negative experiences or "engrams", a person can free himself from repressed feelings that cripple his life. This liberation process is assisted by a counselor called an "auditor" who charges up to hundreds of dollars a session. The auditor's basic aid is the "E-meter", a skin galvanometer that is said to help him ascertain the problems of his client.

Soon the New Jersey authorities and the American Medical Association challenged the veracity of the new faith. L. Ron Hubbard met the challenge by fleeing the state (not the last time this was to happen). A frequent memory of Ron Jr. is his father's packing up shoe boxes with thousands of dollars to move on to greener and safer pastures.

Coming into manhood in the early fifties, Ron Jr. learned the virtues of flimflam and keeping one step ahead of the law and creditors. But he admits that he accepted his father's teachings and example as correct. By the time his father started the modern Church of Scientology in Arizona and New Jersey in 1953, young Hubbard was not only a disciple but a willing organizer in the new movement. He was to be so throughout the 1950s.

While Ron Jr. may never have questioned his father and the mushrooming cult of Scientology, a growing uneasiness began to take hold of him. In 1953 he married Henrietta, whom he never allowed to join the church. They were to have six children --Deborah, Leif, Esther, Eric, Harry and Alex, age twelve, who suffers from Down's Syndrome-- plus six grandchildren, none or whom were ever members of Scientology. The importance of family life, especially in contrast to his own up-bringing, caused Ron Jr. to question his life as a member of Scientology, albeit privately. Other factors also caused Ron Jr. to think about breaking away from the cult that was dominating his life. His father's autocratic and arbitrary control of Scientology often led to violence, and the young Hubbard began to be disturbed by his own participation. Certain questionable transactions involving drug dealing and the transfer of large sums of money abroad by his father was another troubling factor. But, he says, the breaking point came over his father's involvement with the Russians. Finally, in 1959, when his father was in Australia, Ron, his wife, and two children fled the Church of Scientology.
According to Ron Jr., life was to become a nightmarish existence. No matter, where the family went in the United States, it would not take long for a member of the organization to find them. Because he knew too much about Scientoiogy and its founder, Ron says, attempts were made to ensure his silence. For many years L. Ron Hubbard, Jr. kept a low profile.
Keeping silent did not end Ron's terror of what his father and followers might do to him and his family. In 1976 his half brother Quentin died under mysterious circumstances that Ron is certain was murder. Quentin, a son of Scientology's leader, was a drug abuser and an embarassment to his father. Whether all these questions were signs ot paranoia finally became less important to Ron than discovering, once and for all, the truth about his father. In 1980 Ron became convinced that his father was dead, and that his death was being kept a secret by the Church of Scientology, lest knowledge of his death cause chaos in the organization. He filed his petition and an open war was declared. Should he win the suit by proving that his father is either dead or incompetent, Ron and other family members will receive the millions of dollars believed to be part of L. Ron Hubbard's estate.
For some thirty years, stories, rumors, and innuendo about the Church of Scientology have been whispered, and sometimes reported, internationally. Obviously, the final judgment of L. Ron Hubbard. Jr., and his allegations remains to be made. But because of his high-level involvement for such a long time with this controversial organization, he himself has become a newsworthy figure. To find out what this man at the center of an international firestorm is like. Penthouse sent contributing editor Allan Sonnenschein to Carson City, Nev, where he met Hubbard in the small three-bedroom apartment in which he lives (he manages the apartment complex). "DeWolf." Sonnenschein told us, "is a stocky and ruddy-complexioned man, with thinning red hair. Despite his almost continuous involvement with lawyers of both sides of his case, DeWolf was very relaxed during the several hours. I spent with him. He seemed convinced that his desire to tell his story after all these years was of vital importance ... and he spoke with a firmness and intensity befitting a person who claims to be risking his life by speaking out."
Because of the seriousness of Mr. DeWolf's charges and because his father has affected the lives of thousands, if not millions, of people, Penthouse will be launching an independent investigation of these charges. The results will be published in a forthcoming issue.
Penthouse: Before you filed your lawsuit and began speaking openly about Scientology, there was very little news of it in the media. Why do you think there has been so little investigation of Scientology?

Hubbard: it's very simple. Scientology has always had a "fair-game doctrine"--a policy of doing absolutely anything to stop an investigation or publication of a critical article in a magazine or newspaper. They have run some incredible operations on the several people who have tried to write books about Scientology. It was almost like a terror campaign. First they'd try throwing every possible lawsuit at the reporter or newspaper. We had a team of attorneys to do just that. The goal was to destroy the enemy. So the solution was always to attack, full-bore, with every possible resource, from every angle, instantaneously it can certainly be overwhelming. A guy would get slapped with twenty-seven lawsuits, and our lawyers would start depositioning absolutely anybody who ever knew the man, digging up dirt while at the same time putting together an operation that would get him into further trouble. I know of one case, concerning Paulette Cooper, who wrote a book called The Scandal of Scientology, in which they spent almost $500.000 trying to destroy her.

Penthouse: So you think the press was intimidated?

Hubbard: Oh, absolutely. All the way through, since the fifties. I found this very sad. It seemed very much like Germany in the thirties. The freedom of the press seemed buried. They got scared. They thought. "Well, who wants to go through ten years of lawsuits, just because we printed the name L. Ron Hubbard?" I'm delighted to see that Penthouse has the balls to print this interview.

Penthouse: Why do you think it's so risky?
Hubbard: My father drilled into all of us: Don't go to court thinking to win a lawsuit. You go to court to harass, to delay, to exhaust the enemy financially, physically, mentally. You file every motion you can think of and you just lock them up in court. The courts, for my father, were never used to seek justice or redress, put to destroy the people he thought were enemies, to prevent negative stories from appearing. He just wanted complete control of the press --and got it.

Penthouse: What exactly is Scientology?

Hubbard: Scientology is a power-and-money-and-intelligence-gathering game. To use common, everyday English, Scientology says that you and I and everybody else willed ourselves into being hundreds of trillions of years ago --just by deciding to be. We willed ourselves into being ourselves. Through wild space games, interaction, fights, and wars in the grand science-fiction tradition, we created this universe --all the matter, energy, space, and time of this universe. And so through these trillions of years, we have become the effect of our own cause and we now find ourselves trapped in bodies. So the idea of Scientology "auditing" or "counseling" or "processing" is to free yourself from your body and to return you to the original godlike state or, in Scientology jargon, an operating Thetan --O.T. We are all fallen gods, according to Scientology, and the goal is to be returned to that state.
Penthouse: And what is the Church of Scientology?

Hubbard: It's one of my father's many organizations. It was formed in 1953, basically to avoid the harassment of my father by the medical profession and the IRS. The idea of Scientology didn't really exist before that point as a religion, but my father hit upon turning it into a church after he started feeling pressured.

Penthouse: Didn't your father have any interest in helping people?

Hubbard: No.

Penthouse: Never?

Hubbard: My father started out as a broke science-fiction writer. He was always broke in the late 1940s. He told me and a lot of other people that the way to make a million was to start a religion. Then he wrote the book Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health while he was in Bayhead, New Jersey. When we later visited Bayhead, in about 1953, we were walking around and reminiscing --he told me that he had written the book in one month.

Penthouse: There was no church when he wrote the book?

Hubbard: Oh, no, no. You see, his goal was basically to write the book, take the money and run. But in 1950, this was the first major book of do-it-yourself psychotherapy, and it became a runaway best-seller. He kept getting, literally, mail trucks full of mail. And so he and some other people, including J. W. Campbell, the editor of Astounding Science Fiction , started the Dianetics Research Foundation in Elizabeth, New Jersey. And the post office kept backing up and just dumping mail sacks into the building. The foundation had a staff that just ran through the envelopes and threw away anything that didn't have any money in it.

Penthouse: People sent money?

Hubbard: Yeah, they wanted training and further Dianetic auditing, Dianetic processing. It was just an incredible avalanche.

Penthouse: Did he write the book off the top of his head? Did he do any real research?

Hubbard: No research at all. When he has answered that question over the years, his answer has changed according to which biography he was writing. Sometimes he used to write a new biography every week. He usually said that he had put thirty years of research into the book. But no, he did not. What he did, reaily, was take bits and pieces from other people and put them together in a blender and stir them all up --and out came Dianetics! All the examples in the book --some 200 "real-life experiences" --were just the result of his obsessions with abortions and unconscious states... In fact, the vast majority of those incidents were invented off the top of his head. The rest stem from his own secret life, which was deeply involved in the occult and black-magic. That involvement goes back to when he was sixteen, living in Washington. D.C. He got hold of the book by Alistair Crowley called The Book of Law. He was very interested in several things that were the creation of what some people call the Moon Child. It was basically an attempt to create an immaculate conception --except by Satan rather than by God. Another important idea was the creation of what they call embryo implants --of getting a satanic or demonic spirit to inhabit the body of a fetus. This would come about as a result of black-magic rituals, which included the use of hypnosis, drugs, and other dangerous and destructive practices. One of the important things was to destroy the evidence if you failed at this immaculate conception. That's how my father became obsessed with abortions. I have a memory of this that goes back to when I was six years old. It is certainly a problem for my father and for Scientology that I rememoer this. It was around 1939, 1940, that I watched my father doing something to my mother. She was lying on the bed and he was sitting on her, facing her feet. He had a coat hanger in his hand. There was blood all over the place. I remember my father shouting at me. "Go back to bed!" A little while later a doctor came and took her off to the hospital. She didn't talk about it for quite a number of years. Neither did my father.

Penthouse: He was trying to perform an abortion?

Hubbard: According to him and my mother, he tried to do it with me. I was born at six and a half months and weighed two pounds, two ounces. I mean, I wasn't born: this is what came out as a result of their attempt to abort me. It happened during a night of partying --he got involved in trying to do a black-magic number. Also, I've got to complete this by saying that he thought of himself as the Beast 666 incarnate.

Penthouse: The devil?

Hubbard: Yes. The Antichrist. Alestair Crowley thought of himself as such. And when Crowley died in 1947, my father then decided that he should wear the cloak of the beast and become the most powerful being in the universe.

Penthouse: You were sixteen years old at that time. What did you believe in?

Hubbard: I believed in Satanism. There was no other religion in the house! Scientology and black magic. What a lot of people don't realize is that Scientology is black magic that is just spread out over a long time period. To perform black magic generally takes a few hours or, at most, a few weeks. But in Scientology it's stretched out over a lifetime, and so you don't see it. Black magic is the inner core of Scientology --and it is probably the only part of Scientology that really works. Also, you've got to realize that my father did not worship Satan. He thought he was Satan. He was one with Satan. He had a direct pipeline of communication and power with him. My father wouldn't have worshiped anything. I mean, when you think you're the most powerful being in the universe, you have no respect for anything, let alone worship.

Penthouse: Let's get back to how you saw Scientology working on an individual basis. What if someone wrote to your father asking if he could cure their cancer?

Hubbard: He'd say, Oh, yes, he could handle that.

Penthouse: And what would be the charge for curing cancer?

Hubbard: Back in those days it was anywhere from $10 to $25 an hour. Now, it's up to $300 or more an hour.

Penthouse: What exactly did that pay for?
Hubbard: To be audited. In the old days, the patient would lie on a couch and the auditor would sit in a chair and counsel. The words auditing, counseling, and processing are really the same in Scientology.

Penthouse: What would be discussed?

Hubbard: They would say that the cancer and its cure are just incidental to the main problem of one's "spiritual development." And according to Dianetics and Scientology, the explanation for cancer is basically that you have a sex problem?

Penthouse: A sex problem?

Hubbard: Right.

Penthouse: How did he figure that?

Hubbard: Quite simply, according to my father. Cancer is basically cells that are dividing out of control, and so, according to my father, the problem is a sexual thing. Therefore the cancer is rooted in a sexual problem. If you have cancer, you are really screwed up on sex. So what would happen in this auditing --I don't know what it's like now, but it's probably just the same as in the old days --is that they would address a guy's entire sex life. There was certainly an incredible preoccupation. In Dianetics and Scientology, about sex was a great means of control. You have complete control of someone if you have every detail of his sex life and fantasy life on record.

Penthouse: What if someone who went thought the training just wanted to drop out?

Hubbard: There was no way. There were thousands of people, back in the fifties who would come in and receive various levels of training, such as a Hubbard Certified Auditor's Certificate or a Bachelor of Scientology or a Doctorate of Scientology, and if they didn't toe the mark as my father wanted them to, then we would cancel their certificates. And then he would notify the Scientologists in the area where the man lived not to have anything to do with him, to disconnect from him. And if information was available about him, we would spread that information around to his wife, his family, his children, where he worked, everywhere. It was straight blackmail. It was "Stay in the fold or else." Then, later on, they developed what they called an ethics review board. If you didn't toe the mark, you'd be put on trial in front of a kangaroo court and then be sentenced to maybe scrub floors. I heard that you had to walk around with a dirty rag tied around your arm like a badge. You could be made to do anything. You would be locked in a chain locker or handcuffed to a bed. This is in later years. We were simpler in the fifties, more direct. I just went out and beat them up.
(For my father, the courts were used to destroy people he thought were enemies ... I'm delighted to see that Penthouse has the balls to print this interview.)

Penthouse: Physical beatings?

Hubbard: Yeah. We'd strong-arm them. I did it myself. And you had to realize that I weighed around 240 pounds in those days. When I taught Scientology, no students ever blew my courses! I would go out and physically retrieve my students. You know, the Scientologists are now trying to make me out to be the worst person since Attila the Hun. They forget that when I was director of training for the organization, I trained literally thousands of people. I created a lot of the Scientology processes and procedures throughout the fifties. I really helped create and run the organization. I was very deeply involved, very directly, for seven years, during its formulation and building. So I find their attempts to discredit me amusing. I used to have a thing about saying that nobody ever ran out of my courses. If you think est is tough, you ought to have taken courses under me in the fifties!

Penthouse: What would happen if someone went to your class, decided it was bullshit, and never came back?

Hubbard: If you signed up for a course and you came to my class, I'd keep you there or go physically retrieve you if you left.

Penthouse: You'd already gotten the money, so why did you bother?

Hubbard: Because I thought I was all-knowing, all-powerful --totally arrogant and egotistical --for one thing. I was quite insufferable.

Penthouse: Your father knew this was going on?

Hubbard: Well, sure. Nobody did a thing in Scientology without his direct knowledge or consent or without his orders.

Penthouse: Did it ever go beyond these physical beatings?

Hubbard: I remember locking one girl up in a shack out in the desert for at least a couple or weeks.

Penthouse: Why were things like this never publicized?

Hubbard: Because the same reign of terror that occurred under Robespierre and Hitler occurred back then in the fifties, as it occurs now. You must realize that there is very little actual courage in this world. It's pretty easy to bend people around. It doesn't take much to shut people up, it really doesn't. In the fifties all I had to do was call a guy up on the telephone and say, "Well, I think your wife would like to know about your mistress." The response would be a shocked "Oh, my God!" I'd say, "Well, nobody really wants to divulge that kind of information. I think it would be absolutely terrible if your wife found out, so I'm going to make absolutely sure that she doesn't find out. Now, if you just drop in here for a little more auditing ... Now you know in your heart that the critical things you've been saying about Scientology are just vindictive. They're not really true in your heart. You know that, don't you?" And the guy says. "Yeah, sure, I sure do know that!" And then, if Scientologists couldn't blackmail you, they'd create some dirt on you through their "special operations." There were quite a few of those operations. This one, for example, happened recently. I wasn't involved in it, but Scientologists tried to get an assistant attorney general of the state of California embroiled in a fake operation where a Scientologist pretended to be a nun and pretended to get pregnant by him and filed papers against him. Then in another scheme they tried to set up the mayor of Clearwater, Florida, for a fake hit-and-run accident. I could give you operation after operation that they set up like this.

Penthouse: This has been going on since the fifties?

Hubbard: Sure. It was pretty tame back then compared to very sophisticated operations like they have now. When we hid assets, for example --I remember being in Philadelphia when the FBI anc the U.S. Marshall's Office were after my father on a contempt-of-court charge. There I was running across town with my father with our complete mailing list and a suitcase full of money! Heading for the hills!

Penthouse: Where did the money end up?
Hubbard: A lot of it went abroad. But my father always kept a great deal of it around his bedroom so that he could flee at a moment's notice. In shoe boxes. He distrusted banks.

Penthouse: What kind of money are we talking about?

Hubbard: Back then? Hundreds of thousands at least. The last time I saw my father, in 1959, he mentioned that he had at least $20 million salted away.

Penthouse: Did he invest the money?

Hubbard: No. He wanted to stay really liquid. Very fluid, so he could cut and run at any time.

Penthouse: Where did all this money come from? How much did it cost to be audited, in Scientology parlance?

Hubbard: It cost as much as a person had. He had to stay in the organization, getting audited higher and higher, until he paid us as much as he had. People would sell their house, their car, convert their stocks and securities into cash, and turn it all over to Scientology.

Penthouse: What did you promise them for this price?

Hubbard: We promised them the moon and then demonstrated a way to get there. They would sell their soul for that. We were telling someone that they could have the power of a god --that's what we were telling them.

Penthouse: What kind of people were tempted by this promise?

Hubbard: A whole range of people. People who wanted to raise their IQ, to feel better, to solve their problems. You also got people who wished to lord it over other people in the use of power. Remember, it's a power game, a matter of climbing a pyramidal hierarchy to the top, and it's who you can step on to get more power that counts. It appeals a great deal to neurotics. And to people who are greedy. It appeals a great deal to Americans, I think, because they tend to believe in instant everything, from instant coffee to instant nirvana. By just saying a few magic words or by doing a few assignments, one can become a god. People believe this. You see, Scientology doesn't really address the soul; it addresses the ego. What happens in Scientology is that a person's ego gets pumped up by this science-fiction fantasy helium into universe-sized proportions. And this is very appealing. It is especially appealing to the intelligentsia of this country, who are made to feel that they are the most highly intelligent people, when in actual fact, from an emotional standpoint, they are completely stupid. Fine professors, doctors, scientists, people involved in the arts and sciences, would fall into Scientology like you wouldn't believe. It appealed to their intellectual level and buttressed their emotional weaknesses. You show me a professor and I revert back to the fifties: I just kick him in the head, eat him for breakfast.
(My mother was lying on the bed and my father was sitting on her, facing her feet. He had a coat hanger in his hand. There was blood all over the place.)
Penthouse: Did it attract young people as much as cults today?

Hubbard: Yes. We attracted quite a few hippies but we tried to stay a way from them, because they didn't have any money.

Penthouse: A poor man can't be a Scientologist?

Hubbard: No, oh no.

Penthouse: What do you think of the great popularity of cults in this country?
Hubbard: I think they're very dangerous and destructive. I don't think that anyone should think for you. And that's exactly what cults do. All cults, including Scientology, say, "I am your mind, I am your brain. I've done all the work for you, I've laid the path open for you. All you have to do is turn your mind off and walk down the path I have created." Well, I have learned that there's great strength in diversity, that a clamorous discussion or debate is very healthy and should be encouraged. That's why I like our political setup in the United States: simply because you can fight and argue and jump up and down and shout and scream and have all kinds of viewpoints, regardless of how wrongheaded or ridiculous they might be. People here don't have to give up their right to perceive things the way they believe. Scientology and all the other cults are one-dimensional, and we live in a three-dimensional world. Cults are as dangerous as drugs. They commit the highest crime: the rape of the soul.

Penthouse: You mentioned that Scientology attracted a great many well-known or important people. Can you give us some examples?

Hubbard: Two of the people we were involved with in the late fifties in England were Errol Flynn and a man who was high up in the Labor Party at the time. My father and Errol Flynn were very similar. They were only interested in money, sex, booze, and drugs. At that time, in the late fifties, Flynn was pretty much of a burned-out hulk. But he was involved in smuggling deals with my father: gold from the Mediterranean, and some drugs --mostly cocaine. They were both just a little larger than life. I had to admire my father from one standpoint. As I've said, he was a down-and-out, broke science-fiction writer, and then he writes one book of science-fiction and convinces the world it's true. He sells it to millions of people and gets billions of dollars and everyone thinks he's some sort of deity. He was really bigger than life. Flynn was like that, too. You could say many negative things about the two of them, but they did as they pleased and lived as they pleased. It was always fun to sit there at dinner and listen to these two guys rap. Wild people. Errol Flynn was like my father also in that he would do anything for money. He would take anything to bed --boys, girls, Fifty-year-old women, ten-year-old boys, Flynn and my father had insatiable appetites. Tons of mistresses. They lived very high on the hog.

Penthouse: And what about this Labor Party official?

Hubbard: He was a double agent for the KGB and for the British intelligence agency. He was also a raging homosexual. He wanted my father to use his black-magic, soul-cracking, brainwashing techniques on young boys. He wanted these boys as his own sexual slaves. He wanted to use my father's techniques to crack people's heads open because he was very influential in and around the British government --plus he was selling information to the Russians. And so was my father.

Penthouse: Your father was selling information to the Soviets?

Hubbard: Yes. That's where my father got the money to buy St. Hill Manor in East Grinstead, Sussex, which is the English headquarters of Scientology today.

Penthouse: What information did your father have to sell the Soviet government?
Hubbard: He didn't do any spying himself. What he normally did was allow these strange little people to go into the offices and into his home at odd hours of the night. He told me that he was allowing the KGB to go through our files, and that he was charging £40,000 for it. This was the money he used for the purchase of St. Hill Manor.

Penthouse: Do you know any specific information that the KGB got from your father that might have been harmful to security?

Hubbard: The plans for an infrared heat-seeking missile in the early fifties. They obtained the information by extensive auditing of the guy who was one of the head engineers. There were great infiltrations clear to this day. There has always been an inordinate interest on the part of Scientology in military and government personnel. There's no way for me to prove it sitting here, but I believe that the KGB trained East German agents who came via Denmark to London to the United States who were, supposedly, Scientologists. They made very good Scientologists. They were very well trained.

Penthouse: Did your father do this just for money?

Hubbard: Yes. The more he made, the more he wanted. He became greedy. He was really just interested in the use of money and power, wherever it was or whosoever's it was. Morality and politics made no difference to him at all.

Penthouse: Did the Labor Party official get any of his young men via Scientology?

Hubbard: Yes. The British were ripe for Scientology. The British school system fosters lesbianism and homosexuality, because from the time you're born until you're in your twenties, all you see is the same sex. The schools are so segretated. And you'll notice in Scientology the focus on sex. Sex, sex, sex. The first thing we wanted to know about someone we were auditing was his sexual deviations. You know, in actual fact, very few people exclusively practice missionary-style sex. So all you've got to do is find a person's kinks, whatever they might be. Their dreams and their fantasies. And if you find that central core, their sexual drives and desires and fantasies, then you can fit a ring through their noses and take them anywnere. You promise to fufill their fantasies or you threaten to expose them --very simple. And People do have outrageous sexual fantasies. Nothing wrong with that --I'm the last guy on earth who should make a value judgment about somebody's sexual practices. But once you find their sexual core, you've got them. And you find this by brainwashing, through auditing, through interrogation, investigations, following them, photographing them, tapping their phones, whatever.

Penthouse: You did all that?

Hubbard: Sure.

Penthouse: Were there any other high level British government people in Scientology?

Hubbard: There was a member of Winston Churchill's medical staff. We had him by the balls.

Penthouse: Did he give you any information about Churchill?

Hubbard: Yes, certainly. You see, these people didn't realize where their information was going. They always thought that in Scientology auditing they had the priest-confessor's confidentiality --but it was never that way. People just assumed it, and still do. But everybody knew what was in everybody's files.

Penthouse: What was the first example you can remember of your father's espionage activity?

Hubbard: I remember one day in 1944 when he came nome from the naval base where he was stationed in Oregon with a big, gray metal box under his arm. He put in our little attached garage and put a tarp over it. That weekend a couple of funny little guys came over to the house. I remember it was summer and they were wearing heavy woollen overcoats --dark brown overcoats. It stuck in my mind: what are they doing wearing overcoats when it's hotter than hell? I was only about ten at the time. Anyway, these big, sweating guys take the box and put in in their car and drive off. But before they'd come, I'd snuck a look in the box. It had this strange-looking object in it. I didn't know what the hell it was. Later on, in the fifties, I was walking through a war surplus store and I suddenly saw an object that was just like the one I'd seen in the box. It was the heart of the radar. During the war --when those men took it from our garage --it was super-secret, super-valuable, worth thousands of dollars. I remember that people were told to commit suicide if it ever got captured in order to blow it up.
Then, in 1955, I went to work in the Scientology office in London. I noticed a woman in the office doing strange things with strange people in the office, so I investigated her. I found out she was a card-carrying member of the Communist Party. I got very angry at her and broke into her apartment, where I found dozens of little code pads. They looked like little milk pads with a whole mess of letters and numbers on them. I had people follow her to the Russian Embassy. I finally wrote a long report to my father about her. He was furious. He told me not to investigate anymore, not to write anymore, not to tell anyone what I had found out, to destroy all my evidence. I yelled at him, "The goddamn Russians are running around the office and doing God knows what." He yelled back. "I want'em there!" He told me that she was placed there by the KGB with his knowledge and consent. This really bothered me. My grandfather, who was a lieutenant commander in the navy, had impressed me with his red-white-and-blue honor and integrity. He was an officer of the old school. 180 degrees different from my father, in fact, I credit him a great deal with my ability to get rid of Scientology and get my head straightened out, because his patriotism had gotten through to me and made me sour on what my father was doing in dealing with the Russians.

Penthouse: Was this why you became disenchanted with Scientology?

Hubbard: It was the beginning. I began to see that my father was a sick, sadistic, vicious man. I saw more and more parallels between his behavior and what I read about the way Hitler thought and acted. I was realizing that my father really wanted to destroy his enemies and take over the world. Whoever was perceived as his enemy had to be destroyed, including me. This "fair game" policy since the beginning. The organization couldn't exist without it. It keeps people very quiet.

Penthouse: Do you mean killed?

Hubbard: Well, he didn't really want people killed, because how could you really destroy them if you just killed them? What he wanted to do was to destroy their lives, their families, their reputations, their jobs, their money, everything. My father was the type of person who, when it came to destruction, wanted to keep you alive for as long as possible, to torture you, punish you. If he chose to destroy you, he would love to see you lying in the gutter, strung out on booze and drugs, rolling in your own vomit, with your wife and children gone forever: no job, no money. He'd enjoy walking by and kicking you and saying to other people, "Look what I did to this man!" He's the kind of man who would pull the wings off flies and watch them stumble around. You see, this fits in with his Scientology beliefs, also. He felt that if you just died, your spirit would go out and get another body to live in. By destroying an enemy that way, you'd be doing him a favor. You were letting him out from under the thumb of L. Ron. Hubbard, you see?

Penthouse: It's been said that many Scientologists have similar philosophies.

Hubbard: Yes. Many are sadistic, just like he was. Very Teutonic, very Gestapo.

Penthouse: Do you think they would stop at murder?

Hubbard: Many wouldn't. The one super-secret sentence that Scientology is built on is: "Do as thou wilt." That is the whole of the law. It also comes from the black magic, from Alistair Crowley. It means that you are a law unto yourself, that you are above the law, that you create your own law. You are above any other human considerations. Since you came into being by an act of will, you can do anything you will. If you decide to go out and kill somebody --bam! --that's it. An act of will. Not connected, to any emotions or feelings, not governed by any ethics or morality or law. They are very vicious people. Totally into attack. Most people think these people are so insane and wild and berserk and unpredictable. Not to me. Insane people are very predictable, because they're trapped on the same mental and spiritual merry-go-round and all they can do is go round and round. For years I've been able to Counter them --to stay alive --simply because I was one of them. I had a helluva good teacher.

Penthouse: Was your father violent in his behavior with his family?

Hubbard: Not to me. But he beat up a lot of women very badly. Blood, black eyes, busted teeth, the whole thing. He beat the holy hell out of women. His rages were incredible. I've read reports of the kinds of rages Hitler used to have, and they sound just like my father's. He was especially touchy about food. He would always have somebody else at the table sample everything on the table before he'd eat it. I've seen him pick up an entire dinner table and throw it against the wall if he didn't like the food or thought it was suspicious. He got very strange in the fifties. He had to have his clothes washed and washed and washed. He would take showers half a dozen times a day. I have often wondered if all of this might have been caused by the massive amounts of drugs and medication he took.

Penthouse: Did your father take a lot of drugs?

Hubbard: Yes. Since he was sixteen. You see, drugs are very important in the application of heavy black magic. The personal use of drugs expands one's conscious ability to break open the doors to the realm of the deep.

Penthouse: What kind of drugs did he generally use?

Hubbard: At various times, just about everything, because he was quite a hypocondriac. Cocaine, peyote, amphetamines, barbiturates. It would be shorter to list what he didn't take.

Penthouse: Did he encourage you to do drugs?

Hubbard: Well, he used them with me. He was a real night person. We used to sit around all night, sit around his office or home, get loaded up, and talk. He had a pretty liquid tongue. He loved to talk. And of course, in the fifties, he decided that I was the heir apparent, so he wanted to teach me everything he knew. He started me out by mixing phenobarbital into my bubble gum, when I was ten years old. This was to induce deeper trances in order to practice the black magic and to get an avenue to power.

Penthouse: How exactly would this work?

Hubbard: The explanation is sort of long and complicated. The basic rationale is that there are some powers in this universe that are pretty strong. As an example, Hitler was involved in the same black magic and the same occult practices that my father was. The identical ones. Which, as I have said, stem clear back to before Egyptian times. It's a very secret thing. Very powerful and very workable and very dangerous. Brainwashing is nothing compared to it. The proper term would be "soul cracking." It's like cracking open the soul, which then opens various doors to the power that exists, the satanic and demonic powers. Simply put, it's like a tunnel or an avenue or a doorway. Pulling that power into yourself through another person --and using women, especially -- is incredibly insidious. It makes Dr. Fu Manchu look like a kindergarten student. It is the ultimate vampirism, the ultimate mind-fuck, instead of going for blood, you're going for their soul. And you take drugs in order to reach that state where you can, quite literally, like a psychic hammer, break their soul, and pull the power through. He designed his Scientology Operating Thetan techniques to do the same thing. But, of course, it takes a couple of hundred hours of auditing and mega-thousands of dollars for the privilege of having your head turned into a glass Humpty Dumpty --shattered into a million pieces. It may sound like incredible gibberish, but it made my father a fortune.

Penthouse: When was the last time your father was seen in public?

Hubbard: Sometime in the sixties he granted an interview to British television. After that he didn't appear in public and just slowly became a recluse. One of the reasons he became a recluse was his own physical and mental condition was deteriorating so badly that he couldn't let the public or the Scientology membership know just what kind of shape he was in. He was a testament to the fact that Scientology didn't work.

Penthouse: Looking over the past twenty-odd years of your life, what would you have done differently?

Hubbard: That's a complex question, guess if I had it to do all over. I would do the same thing. With a father like mine. I don't think I could live it differently. It's been twenty-three years of hell, but sometimes you have to go through hell to get to heaven. It's been a very exciting life. I can say that. We come from a long line of rogues and scoundrels, going back 200 or 300 years, at least. And so I guess we're built for this kind of life. I've said that I am a preacher of adversity and controversy, and I thrive on it. Plus maybe by our example, people will quit trying for god-ship.

Penthouse: What if your father's alive? Would you be able to confront him?

Hubbard: Yes I would love to.

Penthouse: Do you have any fear of him?
Hubbard: No if he is sick, I would make sure he receives the best treatment I could find in the world for him. I consider him a victim of all this as much as I consider myself a victim of his own involvement with black magic, drugs and his own delusions. He became a victim of himself.

Penthouse: Many people would say that your father is guilty of a great many sins and crimes. Do you think he should be punished?

Hubbard: He hasn't escaped punishment. I think at this juncture, dead or alive, he fell into his own insanity, and that's quite sufficient punishment. That is the most terrible jail of all, to be trapped inside his own head. With him it must be like being locked inside an exploding fireworks factory with no way out.

Penthouse: Have you ever wished your father dead?

Hubbard: I don't believe so, no. Regardless of the things he's done to me --we had a helluva good time!

Penthouse: Ripping the world off?

Hubbard: We did! I enjoyed my life then, and I enjoy it now. And really, as far as crimes go. I think my father has received the ultimate punishment, which is being locked and trapped in his own insanity. There's no way out for him.

Scientology Responds

In order to present both sides of the controversy involving the Church of Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard Sr. to our readers, Penthouse Contributing Editor Allan Sonnenschein conducted a lengthy interview by telephone with the Rev. Heber Jentzsch, president of the church. Excerpts from that interview follow.

Jentzsch: Let me say this: The media have been hyped by a number of people who are criminal - extortionists - perverts - etc. - and they make all these claims, and then you're supposed to respond to them. The credibility of the individual is just out the bottom. And I don't find it instructive for us to just sit and respond to a bunch of allegations.

Penthouse: Is it true, as DeWolf claims, that Scientology is an extremely expensive and time-consuming process?

Jentzsch: It isn't expensive if one is looking at something that works. And Scientology is an extremely workable system. The churches that I know of - and I deal with religious leaders all across the country - some of them have a tithing system, and they pay it for their entire lifetime. That can be quite a bit of money, and it's also worthwhile. But let's move it out of the religous field and look at the psychiatrists, and they're running all this crazy stuff, you know? You've got psychiatrists who are essentially charging an arm and a leg for electric shock psychosurgery, drugging, all kinds of things which really are destructive to the individual. And they're funded by the state for those activities, into the billions. So Scientology comes along. First of all, it can be done from a person picking up a book like Dianetics as I said. And it costs them the price of the book. Or it can be done from the standpoint of the professional counselors and so forth. Mr DeWolf hasn't been with the church for twenty-four years, so he's hardly an authority on where we are at the present time. But it's like yo say - is it expensive or time consuming? Well, long before I joined the staff, I did Scientology extensively. I didn't find it time consuming. I found that I was able to do it and still carry on at a profession and do both.

Penthouse: Can a poor man go through Scientology counseling?

Jentzsch: Sure.

Penthouse: He can?

Jentzsch: Sure. I mean he can go on the staff, and for that he receives his counseling, and he can do the whole thing.

Penthouse: Is it true that the media have been intimidated by church members when they try to report on the organization?

Jentzsch: Ha! Well, I just say, look with your own eyes. If they're intimidated, boy, how do you explain Time magazine, 20/20 on ABC TV, Cable Network News national, ABC TV's World News, the Los Angeles Times, and the New York Times, reporting all in one day on Scientology? I mean, how do you explain that? I mean, give me a break!

Penthouse: The allegation has been made that the Church of Scientology has hounded ex-members who have spoken out negatively about the church.

Jentzsch: Can you give me the names?

Penthouse: Gerald Armstrong is the first that comes to mind.

Jentzsch: Mr. Armstrong is my step-son-in-law. I know him quite well. He was a clerk, and he also drove a car. And that's all he ever did. When he left, he sort of tried to raise his status. If he thinks he's been hounded by Scientologists, I'll offer this: he says he's getting phone calls? We'll go to the police and put a tap on the phone. You know what a tap is, right? It just traces the phone call. So let's find out where the phone calls are coming from, because it isn't coming from our people. And I want to know. So to every guy who's screaming that, that's the thing I offer.

Penthouse: How do you respond to charges that L. Ron Hubbard, Sr. may no
longer be alive?

Jentzsch: Mr. Hubbard wrote me a letter last week. He wrote the court that has the records under seal and is keeping them in safekeeping, per our request. Now, he wrote, and he carboned me, with a very well-documented, extensive kind of forensic background in this letter. What it is is one of the top forensic scientists in this country put together an ink that could have been formulated by the second of February, 1983. He put that ink in a pen, and sent it to Mr. Hubbard. Mr. Hubbard wrote a letter to the court, carboning me, and he also placed his fingerprints on that letter underneath the ink and to the side. And top forensic analysts have proven that, that is the ink that was formulated the second of February 1983. Number two: that is his writing. Number three: those are his fingerprints. End of theme. But this letter establishes, in terms of forensic science and in terms of court-acceptable records, that Hubbard Sr. is very much in control of this whole scene and his own monies, his own life, his own activities...

Penthouse: Is it possible to speak to Mr. Hubbard?

Jentzsch: I...I don't think that Penthouse magazine, given its past activities, would ever do a decent article on Mr. Hubbard. I think they would do everything they could to try to denigrate, to try to impugn the man, to try to destroy any credibility he has... I've read Penthouse and the hate they have for anyone who is opposed to psychiatry, anyone who is opposed to electric shock and psychosurgery, as we have been... I have only to characterize it; that's the only reason they're opposed to it --that Hubbard has instituted an incredible educational capability. They hate it. Absolutely hate anything... [Editor's note: Reverend Jentzsch is not as familiar with the editorial content of Penthouse as he thinks. Among the very many critical articles on psychiatry the magazine has published are " Psychiatric Holocaust" (January 1979), "Psychiatry Kills" (April 1981), and "Electroshock: The Horror Continues" (June 1982)] My current frame of mind is that the media will have to prove to us that they have some sort of modicum of ethics and integrity... At this current point, I have no reason to trust them. None at all. I find them rapacious. I find them to be not interested in anything... Six and a half million people who are living good lives, with a tremendous capability...but I don't find the media wanting to cover any of that...

Penthouse: We feel that Mr. Hubbard has a right to respond to the allegations made by Mr. Hubbard, Jr.

Jentzsch: What you're saying is that you give a man who's a criminal the same right as a man who is not.

Penthouse: We're just trying to determine the truth.

Jentzsch: I've got to tell you, I've heard the same thing from every major media that has talked to me. And every one of them had just not one modicum of integrity.

Penthouse: We would be willing to work out any problems you might have before we meet with Mr. Hubbard.

Jentzsch: Well, I don't know that you could meet him, because I have no idea where he is... I will tell you this: if I were ever asked by Mr Hubbard, I will make sure that all of the media who have currently interviewed him will never, ever, ever, get a personal interview. I mean, I can guarantee you that Time magazine will not... I can guarantee you ABC-TV will not: I can guarantee you that all the others will not. I will promise that, and I will campaign for it if he ever decides that he wants to do a major media event of any kind or an interview of any kind. I will make sure that every one of those gentlemen never, ever, ever, ever, ever, gets an interview with him.

Ole Henrik: When I no longer have the drive to say my faith word, but the desire is just as powerful that means that which was meant to be created is created?
Nancy: No, here’s why I say, no. Desire is where faith is located. Faith starts in desire. Jesus said; have the faith of God, whatsoever You desire. But that desire is trapped and can’t get out because of the 2 and 3rd principle in the 7 fold spirit of God; it has to have its way to express; faith IS substance and desires to be expressed; Jesus said, believe you have received and, SAY so and whatsoever YOU SAY ‘will come to pass’. It is in the 4 principle which is the “cross in the heart of God” to ever being a self-loving-self. God desires to be A Self-Giving-Self; the Father DESIRES to be the Son, to give Himself as the Son of God. The OBEDIENT SON-THE WORD gives Himself to be the Father’s desire. [The WORD said, let there be light, and there was light.] The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us: Jesus! The WORD (Jesus) becoming flesh IS the manifesting “faith of God” AS the Son, (in the sons of God). The 5, 6th & 7th spirit of the 7 fold spirit of God is: ”I hear” – “I see” - “I say” – Faith is spirit; FAITH SPEAKS!
I have found at times that desire in us is so deep we don’t know what to say. I have had the Lord ask me if I wouldn’t like to see “this or that” happen… and of course that’s WHAT I want to see happen and so it is then I am able to SAY what God is going to do….. and I go tell that thing to someone who knows it is the word of God that I am speaking. . . and what it was that the Lord, asks me, and I say, comes to pass.
You see, the 7Fold Spirit of God is the way God works in us. He is our DESIRE (faith starts in desire, this is the tip of the cone, and the 1st. spirit in the working of the 7Fold Spirit of God, in us. Our desire wants to express itself and reaches outward for expression, but it is trapped and cannot get out so it snaps back with great resistance and creates this rotating vortex of impossibility; this is the 2nd and 3 spirits in the 7fold Spirit of God! This is God in all beings trapped in us, as us; And Only by the Cross of Christ, which is the 4th spirit working in us comes our freedom, and identity of what it is to be a person; A person is a person containing A PERSON, Christ! This is our awakening in Christ whereby we are ‘hearers’, we are hearing Christ! This is the 5th spirit in the 7Fold Spirit of God. The scales come off our eyes and we become ‘seers’; we start seeing Christ Only in us as us! This is the 6th spirit in the 7Fold Spirit of the working of God in us. This Faith that starts in Desire, which was entrapped, NOW Speaks! This is the 7th spirit in the 7Fold spirit of God. We are “saying” who we are! We are saying, we are Christ in our form. This 7Fold Spirit of God doesn’t work 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 as in that order, but is He working all the time in us, as us. “It is God who is at work in you both to will and to do of His Good Pleasure”…
Ole Henrik: Wow! This is simply stunning! So many things fell into place as I read your account! Wow! Let me give you some more details concerning this faith journey I am in the midst of now and have been for quite a while. It all started out with a powerful desire and my first question was: “Is this from God?” Not least because of the impossibility of it all and that what I desired went against all human reasoning. The next step was that I began praying for this desire to come into existence. A “Papa, make this happen” prayer. Then I meet you in Louisville and you told me about your faith word: “I am in Louisville!” In that instant it felt like something shifted in me and I was taken a step further and I began to say something to this effect: “Papa, thanks that this is a reality” A couple of days ago I was emptied like Job was and the next day filled again. The amazing thing is that I now have had several experiences of that I KNOW that my faith word will happen and I can say to those involved: “You know what? This will happen! I don’t know how or when, but it will happen.” And I know against all appearances to the opposite. Thus there is no drive to say my faith word ” Papa, thanks that this is a reality” because now I know. Any comments to my history? I am afraid I cannot give you any further details. And as you say, a side-effect of this journey, as it were, is that I also now know that I am Christ in my form on a level never before experienced!
Nancy: I haven’t been to bed yet, (again), and am just sitting here half-asleep like a zombie; nearly 4:30 AM. Must have been waiting on this from you!
All I know in reply “to any comments to my history?” There must have been a hell of a lot of suffering in “regarding specifics” personally to you in an agony of faith to produce this summit of faith; by which The Spirit confirms in us this co-speaking-inner-knowing-union-faith-person of authority! Seems to me sharing in the sufferings of Christ becomes the great safe-guard in the testing of our faith which we come to, and come through to find God’s faith in us, as ours. The Spirit responds to this faith expressed with His own inner-Christ-Consciousness, as ours. He is the Faith Summit. ALSO; we live on the ‘done’ level! This or that IS done. We may start out by saying God will do this or that for the benefit of others who stand by to watch and see, but for us we have it! It’s DONE! We’ve got it by FAITH. Faith IS the Substance of the thing. This substance of faith is the real deal. My Great-Grandmother used to say to me: “Mark my word” on whatever she was saying that she saw as her reality of faith. Also: REASONING goes to the cross, when it comes to faith. We don’t reason out things, we FAITH them out. We don’t reason up to Spirit-faith, we LEAP reasoning. Reasoning belongs to soul. Faith is Spirit. We can only reason-down from Spirit, not up to Spirit.
So tell me more whenever you are free to do so. . . always love hearing radical faith.

Faith and Desire – An Exchange between Nancy Gilmore and Ole – Part 2

PART 2
Ole Henrik: This exchange has blessed me so much!!! I have read your mails at least four times! The fruit is that I have gone totally “crazy” and say that It Is Done when everything cries that I am totally nuts.
Ole Henrik: Faith is trusting that we in fact hear the shepherd’s voice calling us to step out of the boat and walk on water which absolutely is scary business.
Nancy: You are giving God His Platform to Show up. Norman would say, “He just pops-up!” I love such radical faith! I’ll have to tell you what Norman said, after being a missionary and finding some uncertainty in his own faith; Norman said; “Well if God is a Big Illusion, I’ll be a little illusion right along with Him.” I think Norman had just come through his dark night of the soul. But in the end he made his decision. That’s what this life in Christ is; making faith decisions. Abraham caught on to this ‘way’ of God. Abraham said, God called the things that be NOT even as though they were. So Abraham did the same! He was a copy-cat, and Abraham is called the father of our FAITH. Actually, God showed Abraham His WAYS, before Abraham ever saw His ACTS, (ISAAC!)! I think this is what God usually does, as a form of maturing us. He teaches us His WAYS. Norman used to say we have to be a ‘way-knower’ in order to be a “way-shower”. This is what fatherhood is all about. . . being a “way-knower”. This way we make things happen for others. We become an Elijah. Elijah said it would not rain for 3-1/2 years and it DIDN’T rain! And at the end of that 3-1/2 years he was watching for a cloud. He even set a date! We are radical lovers of God, and He has his own purpose in each of our lives, and in the end it’s always for others. This is the power of His resurrection in us, and Spirit attitude comes before Spirit action. We truly become God Watchers. We have our focus on Him. Sometimes the more impossible the situation we express the most radical faith. Who would believe it, but God says, we prove Him. And we do! God gave me that challenge many years ago, and I hold it over His head with; YOU SAID, I would prove you. Get on with it Lord. As serious as faith is faith can be fun, because it’s our adventure of faith with Christ.
Nancy: Peter “felt” that way! But faith reigned in Christ and pulled Peter UP to walk with Him on the water. Faith is always directed “toward” Christ. He is the OBJECT of our faith.
Norman once said something like this: “Fear” is faith in reverse, and once that fear is recognized as faith in reverse; “that faith” can be turned toward God, and be going the right way.
Ole Henrik: Do you mind elaborating what you mean here (didn’t quite get it I am afraid):
“Who would believe it, but God says, we prove Him. And we do! God gave me that challenge many years ago, and I hold it over His head with; YOU SAID, I would prove you. Get on with it Lord. As serious as faith is faith can be fun, because it’s our adventure of faith with Christ.”
Nancy: Well, how do I say, I’ve always lived by the promises of God. That is… since I found there are such things as the PROMISES of God. Things I believed the Lord was saying to me. I was always asking Him something about something. And at the beginning I restricted the Lord to ONLY speaking to me though the scriptures since I was convinced the Bible was the Word of God, and His HOLY book.
At THAT time, (to me), the scriptures were the only way God spoke so I never let the bible be far from my side. In fact all through the day I would have my bible open and laying on the right side of the stove in an area handy for me in the kitchen, so I could visit all day with the Lord and He could answer all my questions through His own word. I never considered myself intellectual. In fact I never liked reading because it was boring to me! UNTIL I found the scriptures to be the Word of God, and then I was like a sponge. I couldn’t get enough; I wanted to learn of the Lord. I wanted to “know how” to believe, and I wanted to know “what” to believe.
As I became involved with “Christians” (believers), I found they all had their own way of TEACHING what they said the scriptures were saying, and I believed them until I would read the scriptures on my own, and it was always saying something to me that was different than what they were saying it said. And who was I to know differently than they? But I had an insatiable hunger to know the Lord, and I expected Him to speak to me, directly, and to teach me everything I was to know. Apparently, I had this underlying fear of uncertainty without the Lord’s conformation in EVERYTHING I had questions about.
To make this LONG story short, when I had a question “I expected” the Lord to give me an answer.
Everyone taught tithing so of course that was the THING TO DO! Until one day I was reading in Malachi and it was saying to bring the “full tithe” into the storehouse that there would be food enough to feed all, and that I could put the Lord to the test, and PROVE Him; and that He would rebuke the devour for my sake. Not only that but He would open the windows of Heaven and pour me out a blessing that I couldn’t live long enough to receive it all.
[10Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. 12And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.]
Well my first thought was; that’s not talking about money! That’s talking about all of me! I’m the full tithe. God wants ALL of me; He wants total trust; and for me to hold nothing back (from Him). And I can put Him to the test and “prove” Him! And not only that He will REBUKE the devourer! My response toward Him was: What A DEAL for me!
So from that point on all of my life has been about PROVING Him in everything He ask of me, in one way or another. According to the date I have in ‘this’ bible (all the other ones are warn out), There is a date of 1965.

Ole Henrik: Thanks again Nancy for sharing from your well of wisdom and long life with Him. Again I am thoroughly blessed, not least by that Malachi revelation. Never heard anyone preach it like this before and it said YES and AMEN in my spirit. Thanks!
So, when you went from only trusting that God would speak to you through the Bible you also began trusting your desires as a way of God speaking to you? And you further saw that desire and faith is the same thing, right?
Another thing that hit me today is that I quite often during this faith adventure have said things like: “Of course, I might be wrong” after a powerful faith statement. But, Jesus never said something like that. And He never says that if we are really humble we will say things like that when we ask (desire) whatsoever from Him. That “Of course, I might be wrong” is nothing less than unbelief and false humility.
Ole Henrik: I sat in my chair half-awake thinking about desire. Then lightning struck! Since desire is the same as faith our desire proves our faith and is our faith. No effort in that! Our desire is the same as faith. In a sense desire is my faith and effortlessly sustains my faith. I don’t have to work up desire. It just is!
Jesus said in John 15: “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” The word ask also means desire. Why will it be done for you? Because your desire is your faith and faith is substance – the guarantee that something exist. In this sense desire calls into being things that are not. And since we abide in Him it is a desire that origins in Him. It is so important that we do not suppress our desires. Another cool thing is that we speak out our desires quite effortlessly without knowing we are speaking words of faith. Grace upon grace.
Nancy: You’ve heard the old saying there are two sides to every story? Well, here’s the other side of the story.
All the time I was living as I explained, by “limiting” God to only speaking to me through the scriptures. He was not limited, at all, in speaking always within me, and to me by all different means. But the point is He was the One doing the speaking and the revealing of Himself by all these methods which I will now attempt to share. I think what I learned from limiting God to only speaking through the scriptures was His tricking me into learning to be a co-intercessor with Him. He was showing me his ways’. . . – but all the time, He was also speaking to me by revelation, and direct communication, and in a myriad of ways, as He does today. You must understand that I followed no man. Any fellowship I had with others who were in the “sharing” field was short lived as I became the one who did the sharing with others.
I learned from the beginning, I was unable to live a godly life… by whatever means… so from early-on I told The Lord; “Since You are God, it’s high time You start being God in me.” And believe it or not, I rested in that.
Now without writing a book to you with the progressive details I will skip around, and hit on different things, and then if you have any questions or need more explanation to be given, just ask me; because I think these are the things that always need to be hammered out.
I settled the DESIRE dilemma before I knew the Lord (as Jesus Christ, God in the flesh). I didn’t have any of the “teachings” that are given today where the focus is on YOU. I never read other people’s books to learn some gimmick to make me spiritual. When I did read someone else writings it was for fellowship with the Lord.
Now as I share these things think of yourself in a grand auditorium, sitting in the balcony and having the spotlight on different events in my life played out in the theater’s grand seating area, and not on the stage.
A bit of background:
When I was 6 years old, I was alone with my Great-grandfather in the kitchen right here in this house where I live now. He was sitting in the captain’s chair and I was standing beside him, visiting with him.. and holding his hand….- and he died! And I couldn’t stop him from dying! And believe it, or not… I learned my limitation then and there. From that time on there was only one underlying real desire I had, and that was not to be separated from the people I loved.
So by the time I was married and pregnant with Barry, I was after God to find me! I mean, I already knew being married was not the union I was looking for. . . and I knew I couldn’t keep anyone from dying. I knew there was THE LORD, but I didn’t know Him. SO when I was 19 years old and facing having a family that I would be responsible for. . .I told the Lord: “If I knew where You were, I’d come looking for You. If I thought you were under the bed, I’d get under the bed to find you; but since I don’t know where You ARE… You’ll have to find me. Then I added: I can stand anything in this life, as long as I know “beyond a shadow of a doubt” I will spend ETERNITY with the people I love. That was between 1954 (when I got married), and 1955 (before Barry was born in July).
I didn’t go to church, I didn’t know anyone who believed like I did, and I never watched religious programs on TV. But before Barry was born I accidentally watched Billy Graham on TV. . . and he said if you want to go to heaven you have to have Jesus in your heart. I didn’t hear anything about sin or anything else. I just knew I wanted to go to heaven and that I needed to invite Jesus to come and live in me. I invited the Lord in, then and there, and everything changed; I began praising The Lord for everything. Billy said read your bible and I started in Genesis and read until I got to the “begat” . – then I couldn’t pronounce the names and I quit reading my bible after the first few chapters for nearly 5 or 6 years; But I continue to have this fellowship with the Lord in Praising Him.
REMEMBER I’LL BE JUMPING THROUGH SOME YEARS HERE TO MAKE MY POINT AT THE END.
After Kelly was born we bought an old house to fix up and time was swallowed up by work. God “seemed” to have left me… WELL NOT REALLY BUT I COULDN’T GET THE SATISFACTION I HAD BEFORE WE MOVED.
I couldn’t find another human being who knew the Lord, like I did.
I nearly died giving birth to Kelly, and when I got pregnant with Holly, I didn’t want to be pregnant!!! But the night she was conceived, I heard the Lord say to me: “This is a love-gift!” That’s the first time I truly knew I heard the Lord VOICE speaking to me! That was early in 1961. I was so stressed being pregnant I couldn’t think. I didn’t want to die and leave my children. I couldn’t remember if I’d prayed or not; I’d write my prayer down so I’d know I prayed THEM; and when I was about 7 or 8 months pregnant I had a dream that I had a baby girl, and she had red-curly hair, and I didn’t have any pain delivering her. December 3, 1961 that’s exactly the way it happened.
While I was pregnant I was asked to join a bowling team with the girls in my new neighborhood. Long story short, the only gal that wasn’t from my neighborhood that I didn’t know until the first night of bowling, became my first friend who desired to fellowship concerning the Lord. We stayed up all night long on my front steps and talked about The Lord. She said she knew someone that used to teach the bible and would I be interested in going if she could find out if he was still doing that. The next night we were at his bible class. . . AND I couldn’t get enough of the bible from then on. He explained to me what the Bible was and how it was divided up, and who was who, and how to pronounce those difficult names. I loved him with all my heart but I soon found he was a LAW and Grace man, and he didn’t think I was saved, because I smoked and loved to dance. But I read my bible and fellowshipped with the Lord constantly.
I started having bible classes in my home and began teaching also. By 1965 Kelly was 5 years old and he and Jake (my husband) were in a car accident! Kelly went through the windshield and of course we didn’t know if he would live or die. That night at the hospital all night long whenever Kelly would regain a bit of consciousness and scream-out, I would tell the Lord to put him back to sleep, and everything I said to the Lord, came to pass. I had a bible with me and I was reading in 2nd Corinthians chapter 1. . . and the Lord was speaking to me confirming to me that I was sharing in his sufferings, and that He would be my Comforter. The next day Kelly regain consciousness and didn’t remember any of the pain he had experienced. He had 5 different doctors and one of them was an oral surgeon. Kelly had a broken jaw! AND they were going to take him to surgery the next day and wire his mouth together. As the Lord would have it; the year before, I had been with one of my friends at the hospital whose son had been in a fight and had his jaw broken. His jaw was wired together; and a few weeks later his appendix busted and he had to go to emergence surgery one night. When he came back from surgery he was vomiting but couldn’t get his mouth open, and was strangling on his vomit. I saw what that was like! So when I heard Kelly was to have his jaw wired together I couldn’t wait to get alone with the Lord to beg Him to intercede on behalf of Kelly. HEAL him or DO SOMETHING! I couldn’t stand it.
So later that Monday night, (I had not left the hospital nor Kelly since we arrived after the car accident, Sunday afternoon), but that night I wanted to go to the Chapel to have it out with the Lord. As I began to walk into the Chapel I began to profusely PRAISE the Lord. My mind didn’t understand what my heart and mouth was doing. Here I had gone to beg the Lord to intercede on Kelly’s behalf and here I was rejoicing in Praise! Next: There was the Lord speaking to me out of a Great Light, saying: “Nancy, Nancy don’t you know that I love you, and that I love Kelly, and even if Kelly dies, he will be with me!” That was January 11, 1965.
Well, the next 10 years was a high alone road with Christ as my life. I was an authoritative bible teacher, having 2 and 3 bible classes a week, and of course I was the one learning as the Lord continued speaking to me and commissioning me as his co-intercessor in what He had in mind.
Someone put a small booklet in my possession in 1967 called “Touching The Invisible” . . . I went to the river alone and read it, didn’t understand one word it was saying, but I was rapture in the Spirit the entire time I was reading it. I hadn’t bothered to look to see who wrote the book, but when I finished reading it, I said to the Lord; “I don’t know one thing I just read, but I know one thing, I want to know what this man knows. I don’t know that I ever read it again, but by 1975 the Lord had manifest an inner-Christ-consciousness in me and reveal spirit-Spirit-union. I saw myself as if in a cave (a tomb), and the Lord called me out of that cave to be joined to Himself. It WAS A HOLY UNION! So Holy my outer soul and body wanted to separate from the Holy Christ in union with this Nancy-spirit.
Now the bible classes were throwing me OUT! I was a heretic in their view. One girl who told me she believed what I shared, but she no longer wanted to be seen with me. But within a short time she called me, told me she’d like me to come to lunch; she told me she had ask the Lord to give her a 2nd conformation that what I was sharing about our union with Christ was so. She handed me a book called “Who Am I” and said, The Lord had awakened her in the night and caused her to watch the Pat Robertson TV show and there was this man on his show, named Norman Grubb, and he talked just like me… (haha!)… but at least that’s the way she heard it. She gave me the book, told me Norman was going to be in Chicago, IL and that she thought I should go meet him. The rest is history!
SO…getting back to your questions: “So, when you went from only trusting that God would speak to you through the Bible you also began trusting your desires as a way of God speaking to you? And you further saw that desire and faith is the same thing, right?”
2nd question, first: And you further saw that desire and faith is the same thing, right?” I don’t THINK, I did. But you may from where you are viewing your union with Christ from in the Spirit. I don’t separate myself from Christ. Nor do I separate Him from me. Faith and desire is the outworking of the Spirit’s union with me, and I rest in Him; not in the faith; not in the desire. I rest IN Christ. I’m not examining my desires, nor my faith as though I have them apart from Christ. We are ONE. Whatever He has, I have, but He didn’t give me what He has, He gave me Himself. Faith and desire is the outcome of our union. Before Christ as us, faith and desire was the outcome of the false I. The Vine’s SAP flows into and out of the BRANCH. It’s all Christ as us… and my identity as a person is with Christ; my identity as a FORM of Christ is, Nancy.
1st question: ”So, when you went from only trusting that God would speak to you through the Bible you also began trusting your desires as a way of God speaking to you? I gave up trusting in myself back in those early years. Once, I thought I needed to be a better mother, a better wife, a better person all the way around; more kind, more sensitive, more of everything. I named off a list of what I thought would please the Lord and certainly make me look more godly in everyone’s sight. When I finished my lists of desires and ask the Lord for them; He said to me: “If I gave you those things you wouldn’t want ME. I never asked again! I figured I had Him, and He was all I needed… all I am.
Personally, I think you ask yourself these questions, because you see your self separated from Christ. You’re NOT separated from Him, but you SEE separation. If you, by inner-recognition, “SAY” … Christ lives AS me, (period!). You won’t have all this business trying to ‘figure’ things out. When I say it’s Christ AS me. . .there’s nothing left to figure out. You are either going to say, I am Christ in my form, or you’re going to have this wrestling match each time you “try” to figure it out. I WILL say this: The final form of sin we are all FORCED to see is our ‘self’ as a referee between God, the flesh and the devil (as to who’s who). There is no such person as a referee/a middle man/ a go-between “as you”. That’s Satan as you, and the FINAL FORM OF SIN WE ARE ALL FORCED TO SEE.
I probably haven’t even touched on your real question, but this is the way The Lord has driven me to share this time. You’re free to dismiss it all and start over with your question for me.

Part 4
Ole Henrik: Thanks for sharing your amazing testimony with me! Your story is simply stunning! And you are right! I have almost frenetically been examining my desires and faith, but in the process I have also learned a lot about how these things work together and how they work out in our lives. You are also right about that I have seen separation and that has made me unsteady in all my ways lately. It is certainly true that I also have been a referee trying to judge between what is me and what is Christ when everything is Him. And this is such a mystery! There is a “me” part that walk in unbelief and who operate as a referee, but everything is Him. My analytic mind finds that hard to reconcile. I guess there is only one thing to do; go back to the basic and confess: Christ lives as me! Thanks for helping me putting my feet on firm ground again trusting myself in all things no matter how odd or unusual.
Nancy: I don’t want to be right, Ole Henrik. That’s the last thing I want to project. I only wish to encourage you, not discourage you. It’s out of our belly that flows rivers of living water, and that means travail. We travail in faith.
You are Christ in your form.
If you would hold up your hand and look at it as though it is a total you… there are two sides to your hand. Turn it anyway you want too…make a fist or lay it out flat…there are still two sides to your hand. Yet it is ONE hand. There is the top side, the foreground of your hand… let’s say that’s you. You’re on top and in the foreground. But the palm of your hand is your other-side. Let’s say the Palm, is Christ. Your hand is not your hand without the top and the Palm together as ONE hand. You can grab-hold of something with it… or let it go… but it is all ONE hand. Yet it has two sides. One side of your hand is different than the other. . .but it’s all one hand. When we say we are ONE with Christ we are meaning we are like our hand. We have a top and a bottom; the top isn’t the Palm, but it’s all one hand. One hand! No separation! We don’t call it a top, nor do we call it a palm. We call it a hand.
We could go further, and say the Hand is God, Father-Son-Holy Spirit. We could put the Hand in a glove, and say the glove is you or me. The glove has no life of its own without the Hand in it. It’s the Hand that makes the glove come alive.

Ole Henrik: You know how it is: How we are assailed by doubt, the feeling of standstill, confusion (is this what I really want etc etc), the varying emotions, the overwhelming impossibilities, the waiting, the impatience, the pain……I am also reminded about the lie from Eden which even now daily confronts us: “Has God really said?” followed by a string of arguments why God can’t have said so. It can often be quite a challenge to doggedly push through that wall of lies and continue unwavering in faith trusting that God in fact has spoken. It is, however, definitely good training to be assailed from every direction.
Nancy: Your soul is very active… but that’s not you. . . you are spirit, and spirit is much deeper, or higher than soul. Soul is influenced by the world voices crashing up against your soul to assail you, to pull you down, to torment you. King David had that, and he told his soul to ‘shut-up!’ I’ve done the same over the years from time to time. If you put your forefinger…one on each side of your temple… -that stuff that is playing between your two temples is like a tape recorder screeching going fast forward- and then on to continuous play, then rewinding and doing it again. You have control over that! You can push the STOP button on that tape recorder any time you are sick and tired of that screaming noise, or tell that crap to shut-up like David did! And when you mean it, it will obey you. You’re in union with the One in authority.
The soul is vital for it is a go-between for the world to crash up against it and touch the Spirit of the living God; and for the Spirit-spirit union of Christ as you to flow out through the soul to the world! The soul can be like the turbulent sea turning and tossing in every direction by the voices of the world…. but the power is not in the waves of the sea, but in the depth of the sea where it is still and calm. In actuality, you live in the depth of the sea with Christ; or riding the high place of the earth with Him. Like I told you I sit in the balcony and watch the spotlight shinning on the different events in my life in the grand arena; you can do the same thing in viewing your life. You can “separate yourself from all that noise” by taking your position in the throne room of God with Christ, standing with Him and seeing a far-off from all that stuff. Ask the Lord to take the scales off your eyes so that you can ‘see Him’ living as you, and you seated or standing with Him in the peace and power of the deep sea, or the throne room of God.
He will do that.
Ole Henrik: In part 3 you wrote: “I gave up trusting in myself back in those early years.” Do you trust yourself now when Christ as you is an established fact in you?
Nancy: You know what…it’s absolutely true, what you take, takes you. SO no, I never trust in my self. I trust in the Lord ONLY. . .- but then again He is my True Self! So do I trust in my self? Of course, I do. I’ve never thought much about it, though! He is the One I’m conscious of as me. . .and yet I just live and do what is within my means that I’d like to do. It’s a paradox. He is forever and always my means by which I do all things. I’ve more or less lost consciousness of my self; well, not really, here I am. Yet Christ occupies me with what He is doing. Except when I look in the mirror and see how much weight I gained, and then I always say to the Lord, I don’t like the way I look! I don’t think it’s good for me to carry all this weight, and sit at the computer all day, without getting any exercise; but there’s no sense of me asking you to help me lose all this weight, because I already know You’re not going to help me do anything. You’re going to take my place and do it for me, as me; and so far I still look fat! So I’m just going to be visualizing how thin and beautiful I really am; and I’m going to act like that too. Even on my deathbed, I’ll be thin and beautiful!
If I want to do something and am enabled to do it, I just do it, and count it as Christ living as me. If I want to do something and can’t do it, I just don’t do it and count it as Christ living as me. We are never self-acting-selves! NEVER!
I don’t become Christ. He is forever my ‘other half’… the Person I am joined too. He is the real Person living AS me. In fact He’s writing this to you right now. Or is it me? We only do what we see Him doing as us. And many times without much notice. We just find ourselves doing it even when we didn’t know previously we were going to be doing it. It’s a total spontaneous life of faith!
Being conscious of a Person who is your other half, puts the pressure on your other half. I expect Christ to be living as me in every way! 24/7!
I will say He has done some risky things as me at times that I would have never done. He doesn’t spare your reputation for a minute. But then, you don’t care, do you! Well, you do, but you don’t! You are living in a suspended oneness with Christ. It’s an easy life! You just do the next thing. Or whatever you’re made to do. Whatsoever you desire. It is God who is at work in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. He’s done some things as me, I would have never done. But then again, how can you help but do what you are made to do. It’s a totally relaxed life, and with the guarantee it is Christ living as you. He cannot lie! That’s our security-blanket, that comforts us. And he makes us “a cannot lie person, too”.
In the long run all you care about is others and the Lord doing His thing as you. I’m in control, because I’m always out of control. We are in the resurrection, and THAT HOLY Spirit of God in us knows more about our desire than we do!
There were times in the past when I thought I wanted a certain thing, and didn’t get it in the way I thought I would; and in later years I worship the Lord with all my heart for NOT letting things work out like I thought I wanted them too, earlier. You see the deepest desire in us is really Christ desiring our desires as us. He knows His own plan and He causes us to see our desire is exactly what we really wanted all along. This is what I mean by The Adventure of faith can be fun! It’s being loved in a Satisfied Life in a way that no other Person is able to produce.

Whenever we remain in unbelief in our consciousnesses that channel is blocked, as it were. But, He continually calls our consciousnesses to step into the throne room seeing us standing by His side speaking our words of faith in accordance with our desires or inner drive or calling.

This is an illusion: “Whenever we remain in unbelief in our consciousnesses that channel is blocked, as it were.” This statement is sense-knowledge. Sense-knowledge is an enemy to faith. Sense knowledge opposes faith, don’t you think? Faith calls the things that be not even as though they were. Faith does. And even when we don’t believe, He is greater! HE IS GREATER than anything we can imagine! Leave yourself alone: You ARE perfect! You cannot be improved upon. You cannot be upbraided for asking anything, as many times as you wish to. Unless He tells you to shut-up… and be still, and know the Lord!
But this is Not an illusion: “He continually calls our consciousnesses to step into the throne room seeing us standing. .” by His side (?) or IN Him? Location is important and we locate ourselves IN Him. Not beside of Him. He is our other half, but as one person.
“Speaking our words of faith in accordance with our desires or inner drive or calling.” We only have one obedience; just one, and it’s the obedience of faith, not the obedience of desire. Desire is the outworking of our faith-union. Remember desire was trapped in the 1st. spirit of the 7fold spirit of God. It is only released in the Faith Person who is the 4th spirit in the 7fold spirit of God… we are IN Him.
Romans 16; the obedience of faith. . . this is what changes Nations. We walk by faith. Faith IS the substance, not desire.

Have we been duped, because we are certainly treated as such....or are we just talking reality?
Imagine me stepping off the plane at Heathrow only to find something had gone wrong and the plane had landed in 1890. "Hello Chris." "Hi." "Where've you just come from?" "Heathrow airport." "What's that? Sounds like somewhere they package and store air?" " No, I mean I've just flown in." "What, like a bird?....." And so on.
Now imagine why we have a problem explaining why there really is only One Life in the Universe to a people brought up in "split view". We were brought up in split view.
Split view ascribes viciousness,bitterness,foul hateful speech and all the rest, equal "airtime" with "being good, kind, inventive,faithful" and lumps them altogether as "human".
But what we are saying is "No. Bitterness. Hateful speech.....etc is not human....you have to be in a completely different spirit mode to even operate these. " Jesus when He was met with "Good Teacher", wriggled out of that one immediately. "You're not slapping that "human separate self myth" on me! There is only One that's good and that is God the Father.
Now , it takes a while to train our senses in these things to be able to distinguish good from evil. To someone in "split view", that sentence means little, because it's pretty obvious what is good and what is bad, so why on earth train your senses for ages? What's that about.
What it's about is to be a "see througher" to spot Trees of Good, from Trees of Life.
Tree of Good is manufactured. I think PCdom is today's illustration par excellence which Christian and non-Christian can understand.
What is soooo good about what Andre is sharing is that Christ's Life is normal to us. In a way we're only calling it Christ's life, because the planet has been invaded. In Genesis 2 and the first bit of Genesis 3 Adam didn't need to go around saying I am living from God's life.
What else was there.
Indeed in real terms in today's universe: What else is there.
From the Caribbeans we learned the phrase : "It's really flowing man!."
(Hard concept for English people with their schedule books).
As a rule of thumb though Africans and South Americans have an innate feel for flow.As the son of two British physics teachers I had to have the Holy Spirit plunge me 3000ft under into the River of God and hold me there kicking and screaming for some time, before I even grasped that such a concept existed.
So what we are speaking is NORMAL LIFE. Non-manipulated life.
By returning to "single -eyed vision", we are declaring that that real life, has everything in it to bring forth Christ in us.
But the difference between split view life and single-eyed life is spelt out in Proverbs 3.
The phrase I am thinking of is this "If we acknowledge HIM in ALL our WAYS".
And this "acknowledging Him" is the single INTERNAL GAZE that is developed over time. Well...in the phrase "train our senses in these things to be able to distinguish good from evil. "
You see the senses are going on up above this. That's why "split view " people cannot understand us, because everything they do goes on at the level of the senses.
The ONLY people that "start" to get us are Buddhists. But as I have written elsewhere they have no inner knowledge of having "died" completely 2000 years ago, and now at our innercore we have been raised already with Christ co seated with Him in heavenly places. Buddhists cannot go there. So in a way they are running quite similar operating systems up above this level of spirit change, as us.... and what we are saying is unique, because we are talking of a total death to death that has happened for us, and we are working out from there.

  i am not sure i would knock the Buddhists if you have no personal recollections of previous life existences - Egyptians have a few major points also to consider. There are other aspects to consider, and as you rightly point out, they may not completely understand your thoughtpoints, and they may feel you also do not understand theirs... does this make them wrong? I only say this as I feel the Buddhists and Egyptians have a lot for us to take note of, and the Pagans too, and not to just dismiss everything because it does quite fit the agenda. just my thoughts.... no offence meant to any religions ... just feel n open mind still needs to be an OPEN mind, (and heart) xxx

To borrow a phrase: Careful, you are about to enter Thee no Spin Zone… The teaching begins… right now:
Philippians: 5-6 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God.
In the last article I wrote (“What About This”), I related to you that God answered every question I ever had about Him. That was so glorious to me. I knew beyond any doubt that I would never have another question that would be impossible for Him to answer. I love that about God, because I am a person who questions what I do not understand.   I believe that article came out on 2/18/2011 and I haven’t written since.
Everyone writes for different reasons. I write when God reveals something to me. Thus, this is the first revelation I have had in over 10 months.
In March of 2011 something began to: ----can I say: “stick in my craw”… I have a friend who loves it when this happens. She knows me… she knows God is after something and that He doesn’t let me alone until I get it. Well, 10 months later, which is now…. I got it!
When something sticks in my craw, I usually begin to notice it, here a little and there a little. Then eventually, it becomes a full on quest to get to the bottom of it. I am so thankful for the communication with our heavenly Father through the Holy Spirit. Without it, I would be very miserable.
When something begins to “stick in my craw”, I also know instinctively, that I am hearing something that is off balance and it is usually because there is a spin being put on a scripture. Now, let me say this…it is not that I like it when this happens (even though my friend does)… because I know a few things that are going to happen. Number one, I won’t be able to get it off my mind. Two: sometimes I can get really beside myself…like reaching for something that seems to be just out of grasp. Then the third thing is wanting to convey it on paper in such a manner so as not to alienate people but help them find the freedom in the truth that found me. Last, but not least, I have discovered that virtually everything I write, I find myself having the same experience Paul had, happening over and over again. Some get it and some try to tear it apart. I never mind questions and comments about what I write, in fact, I invite them, but I think everyone knows the difference in questions and controversy.
So, it is with humility that I shall write again, hoping to straighten out the crooked paths some have in their thoughts if they have struggled with this same spin.
We’ve often heard the analogy of the ocean when someone is trying to explain our being equal with God. This is how it goes: Being equal with God is like the ocean; if you take a cup of water out of the ocean, it contains all the components of the ocean”. Every single time I heard that… I’d get that little nudge that I mentioned. You know, that thing that would “stick in my craw”…
What was that…why couldn’t I just agree with it?!!!
And yet, I would try to ignore it.
Another one I heard… “You wanna see God…look at me! While, I knew there was an element of truth in that, why did it bother me?! Jesus said, if you see me, you’ve seen the Father. What was it they were supposed to be looking at, that they were not seeing? I’ll tell you if you keep reading.
There have been so many times over the last few months that I have been unable to bear witness to many things that have been said concerning “who I really am”.   Equal to God! Really!   John (my husband) said that he has been trying to find out who he is in Christ and I thought…well, when you find out let me know because it seems that has been a major portion of what is written about and preached about since I have been following Jesus. Yet, it has somehow been beyond my comprehension. It has perhaps been because of the spin that is put on the scripture we are studying today. I say that, because now that the Spirit revealed the truth of this to me… I now know who I am in Christ. I am the cup of water that came out of the ocean.
Let me explain:
The revelation is all tied up in the word equal. Vines dictionary says that the rendering “equal with God” was derived from the Latin version and that when they tried to translate it into Greek, there was no adequate mode of representing the exact form and meaning in Greek. The Revised version says “equality with God” and is of great importance to the right interpretation of the whole passage. The Amplified bible also enlightens us with this same rendering.
Equality means to share the same qualities. Qualities in this context means: Peculiar and essential character: Nature
This equality was enjoyed by the first Adam. He was in complete fellowship with God.   They shared ALL things common. Let’s look at the word fellowship. The word emphasizes what is common between people. Close association. No two walk together except they be in agreement. You may have a close association with someone and disagree on what “equal with God” means. On this subject then, you would not be in “fellowship”… Adam lost fellowship with God. He lost equality with God. At that point, he was made a little lower than God. He was not created lower than God…but lost His equality when he didn’t agree to what God said. His nature changed. Jesus got that equality back for us. This equality with God is only possible when we are in unity with Him. He is the vine and we are the branches. We are partakers of His divine nature. We are not God, but we are one; able to love as He loved and serve as Jesus served. Jesus, knowing he had equality with God, was able to serve God without feeling inferior. It was not an inferior position, but simply an action performed out of Agape.
Now, maybe the following can help us understand the difference in the God who created the universe, and a person in whom the Spirit of God dwells.
Basically, In 1^st Cor. 13, Paul expresses that a person can speak in various tongues, be knowledgeable, understand mysteries, and not have God’s love in him. This tells us who God is and maybe just as importantly, tells us who He is NOT. He is NOT power, but He has all power. He has all knowledge and understanding. He can be everywhere at once.   He IS Agape/love. Man is the only thing on earth that is capable of receiving and exchanging this kind of love.   We are a God-being. We are made in the image and likeness of God. We are capable of communicating agape/love between ourselves and God.
So, about the ocean: He is the Ocean. I am the cup of water that came out of the ocean. I now understand that what bothered me about the analogy of the ocean. Every time I heard it, it conveyed the thought that we are exactly like the creator of the universe and could do everything God does.     I could see no meek and lowly of heart in it. I always had this thought when the ocean concept was mentioned… “but, but, but, the ocean is way more powerful than the cup filled with it’s substance. I did not believe that I was the ocean in this respect. And I was right!
And about those who say “look at me if you want to see God” … What bothered me was they were anything BUT loving. All I could think was…why can’t I see God when I see them… they wanted me to and it wasn’t as if I didn’t try.
All of these things that Paul expressed, the tongues, the knowledge, the mysteries,… were not what was the best. Why? Because it wasn’t WHO God is. It is what He has! The most excellent of all is Love. This is who we are in Christ: we are the nature and character of God in Christ. IN CHRIST; it is when we are IN Christ. We are not All powerful, we are not all knowing, we are not everywhere at once. We are not the all powerful, all knowing, omnipresent God. We are the branches and have total dependence upon the vine. We have delegated authority but it is not mine to use as I will, for it is not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit says the Lord. We do what we see the Father do in a co-operative relationship.
In a lot of circles, power is the focus. This is what some want to BE. This is what they aspire to as if a demonstration of power somehow qualifies them as the best and greatest among us. This is a glass, seen through darkly. How could the disciples have not known the Father by looking at Jesus? Because they were looking at the power Jesus was demonstrating. No one will see or know the Father because of power. Why? Because God is not power! God is Agape. Any demonstration of power is simply a gift to the receiver by the Spirit of God. I don’t mean to make light of the blessing the gifts have been to the person on the receiving end of them, but it is not the best. We have seen and used the power. It is only good. The problem with this is that this good has gendered arrogance and idolatry amongst believers. There is a more “excellent way” to behold and experience.
Perhaps the writer of John was in the no spin zone. He knew something we need to grasp fully and then conclude that this should be the all important focus of the hour. John wrote: IF we have love one for another the world will know that God sent Jesus.
         And I dare to say that the power will take care of itself!!!
Give a cup of cold water to those who are thirsty… Let’s demonstrate our equality with God. Let’s demonstrate who we are! He is the Ocean! We are the cup!

I went you to know the inspiration that went all through me as I read your
main point - the difference between what God IS - love - vs. what He has -
power, etc.

I have used the term "equal with God," but I always meant it
heart-to-heart, the equality of deep friendship. I always meant it the way
you have defined it, though, until I read this, I could not have put my
finger on that meaning.

It was that way with Jesus. He never looked or acted "powerful." Anything
that happened, God did, but it came out of the kindness and compassion in
Jesus' heart.

I've always felt an inner revulsion to the power stuff. Not God doing
wonderful things for people, but the strutting. The real things are found
in the cup of cold water, the gentle touch, the kind word. It's when we
"see" rivers of living water flowing through such that we are most like
God.

But this distinction you have made has been central to a growing inner
knowing inside me of who and what God is. He is much different than most
people imagine. I have even stopped looking at omnipotence, etc., because
those things don't seem to be describing Him. Your article makes the
distinction clear for me as well.

This is going to sound a bit weird, but this is 1 Corinthians 12 in Youngs literal version. It's a bit like when we did Latin. All the words seem in the wrong order.Not everybody can get it right, like us English speakers , eh?

¹And concerning the spiritual things, brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant;

²ye have known that ye were nations, unto the dumb idols -- as ye were led -- being carried away;

³wherefore, I give you to understand that no one, in the Spirit of God speaking, saith Jesus [is] anathema, and no one is able to say Jesus [is] Lord, except in the Holy Spirit.

⁴And there are diversities of gifts, and the same Spirit;

⁵and there are diversities of ministrations, and the same Lord;

⁶and there are diversities of workings, and it is the same God -- who is working the all in all.

⁷And to each hath been given the manifestation of the Spirit for profit;

Verse 1.Notice "spirituals", or "spiritities"...or whatever group word we would say now to capture this, and generally Bibles say spiritual gifts....are considered normal enough that an apostle doesnt want anyone to be ignorant.
We want to "run" our Christian life, basically as the knowledge of how we can receive forgiveness and cleansing in the Blood of Jesus, and go charging around telling everybody, and the Holy Spirit ruins it by wanting to be there amongst us as we gather, and wants Jesus to be the Lord of everything we say, every revelation we have, every idea we have for advancing the gospel, every thought about who we are, every plan for the future because He sees the end from the beginning....
Yes....in short...He wants to wreck how every church over the whole globe operates. Because sure as anything, they dont operate from spiritual gifts, and if they do, it's people having visions of tangerine jellies floating mid air like UFOs round Tescos. You may laugh. I am very very tired of the pentecostal /charismatic realm that haven't even decided yet whether Jesus is Lord of their lives.

Verse 2.
The last 10 weeks or so have been spent understanding more about this verse.
ye were nations, unto the dumb idols -- as ye were led -- being carried away;

You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols.NIV
²You know that when you were heathen, you were led off after idols that could not speak [habitually] as impulse directed and whenever the occasion might arise.AMP

Now we dont have "dumb idols", representations of gods and goddesses, routinely scattered as in India. We do have Greek gods. We do have subtle logos and corporation references to these things.
We do not have big penis substitutes sticking up all over the place in the form of Baal gods.

But the default of our supposedly "independent state", as gods in our own right, lead us to
using the F word, as our Baal empowering substitute.
This even appears now among Christians as OMFG.

We also swear by the name of the Lord. So the more we are godless, the more we swear by Him. Go figure.
Ofcourse "our independent stance", this delusion we picked up as a virus in Genesis 3, isnt independent at all, and is as this verse says, being led astray to worship in some form or another, Baal, or to curse the Living God who is totally good, and who instead, is worthy of our praise and thanks.

Verse 3.So what Paul is saying is, just as it was natural, it was default, for us to drift along being led by evil spirits into their worship, even when we were hardly conscious of where we were being led to,

so it's the same kind of facility for us if we have really been reborn by the Spirit of the Lord, and properly received His Spirit, so, particularly as we gather together in His Name, it is natural for us to be led by this same Spirit. Only you wouldn't know if you went in most churches.Most churches do not preach being born again properly. Nor being baptised in this wonderful Holy Spirit.

We cannot address these demon spirits, or curse or "anathema" our Lord in the Holy Spirit. Only by the Holy Spirit can we say Jesus is Lord.

Only the Holy Spirit can take us through the Lord's Prayer as developed in this post.

I said that I'd been learning more about verse two, but the things I have written above are not what I have been learning. My Old Amersham Baptist Church. Some input from Lance Lambert in Exeter. Some aspects of teaching through Sam Fife and the Move. Even a very strong prophetic Word all of a sudden through Jorge Pradas about Patagonia.But mostly people like Barry Smith, Grant Jeffrey at the Morris Cerullo conferences. I refer to those with their eyes open to the rise of the New World Order.

But what I have seen is this: in the Lord's prayer when it says Lead us NOT into the time of testing/temptation, but deliver us from evil.... is directly connected to the amount we can say like Jesus in the upper room,
"the devil has no landing places in me." Jesus said that after 33 years of testing as the Mark 2 model of Adam. A new species called the Son of Man.

I return to the Holy Spirit being able to say through us Jesus is Lord.
It is the Holy Spirit who wanders through our inner rooms as in Ezekiel 8:10 to discover every last scrawling, every last idol picture, or strange animal desire, on our walls. This is the function of the middle section of the Lord's prayer.

It IS ONLY the Spirit of the Lord that can say Jesus is Lord in us, over everything. If there is still a "hook" in us, Jesus is not Lord. And come the day of evil, as Judas found, his lust for money was hooked into, and he was forced to yield his own Rabbi and friend, up for questioning, torture and death.

Demons are just the same. We only have the facade of things being more modern. Chinese authorities still torture Christians. So do many secular authorities

Darkness works in nation blocks. Paul was called to bring the nations to the obedience of faith. Darkness creates structures in the shape of pyramids with which to manipulate, control, and lead via dumb idols to the worship of the devil. The ultimate form will be Lucifer enthroned, probably at Jerusalem, sitting as head of all the world's governments.

From Genesis 3, through the phony trial of Jesus we see the same kind of manipulations of people's weaknesses and lust to be gods in their own right.

Whether we watch the film The Firm, the John Grisham tale with Tom Cruise.
Whether we look into Freemasonry.
Whether we look into witchcraft, which may begin as white witchcraft, or perhaps merely Cabbalism.
Whether we look into Scientology at the UK base I was invited to at East Grinstead as a prospective job
Whether we even look at a very every day scenario of a market trader hooking people in to his offers.

Everything is about hooking. Then when you are in too deep, you feel you cannot leave.
The hooks are sexual secrets, tastes,scandals. Or even worse, causing you to witness terrible crime that implicates the watcher, so he or she feels trapped. All the US Presidents were in Skull and Bones in Yale, where their sexual fantasies were all exposed, and they feel obliged to be willing participators in the conspiracies.
In the case of a market trader, one I watched, reeled you in and in, gaining the trust of the public with better and better deals, raising his game ever higher, until in one final run, he gets everyone to commit about a hundred pounds each to what could have only cost him £20 or less of bankrupt goods.

For centuries now, we have thrown aside church, God, and His ways, and more recently all forms of prayer. And mankind has been duped into "trusting" his leftbrain, parameter reading approach to life....in short , living almost totally from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Now like Samson, totally blinded by this Enlightenment Delilah, people in the West are totally unaware that they have funded

But if the dollar bill has on one side an incomplete pyramid,with an unjoined capstone, which is about to be completed in the New World Order, you also need to know that there is another capstone.

This is the capstone Zechariah 4:7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain; and he shall bring forth the top stone with shoutings of Grace, grace, unto it.

The key to the passage is the two grace cry.
For centuries the church has had the one grace cry, of forgiveness in the Blood of Jesus. but nobody could live the Christian life. The second grace comes from a generation so frustrated with the rubbish Christianity out there and in our own lives, we rediscovered a Holy Spirit Christianity, but then, as the generation of Jacob we continued up the mount, determined to find the missing piece, that only comes out of the experience of Romans chapters six and seven.

We can now say with authority that Christianity works. It is Jesus own life in us that makes it work. But we needed the Holy Spirit searching all our dark chambers to find the areas of our life that weren't saying "Jesus is Lord."

Now, we have a challenge. If Jesus is insisting on the topstone, the capstone being put into place: which as the prophecy I was given in the glory conference 3 years ago was that

He was moving heaven's furniture into the right positions. Including His own right to rule in the Order of Melchizedek. Then there will be no more room for Satan in the heavenlies, and he will have to "come down to earth, and operate here for he knows his time is short".

In the Body of Christ we have no choice about the way we are to operate. It is "each part supplying." We have enjoyed our fragmented Christ, which is actually an idol, because He is not fragmented.

¹² Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. ¹³ For we were all baptized by^[c] one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. ¹⁴ Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.

¹⁵ Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. ¹⁶ And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. ¹⁷ If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? ¹⁸ But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. ¹⁹ If they were all one part, where would the body be? ²⁰ As it is, there are many parts, but one body.

²¹ The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” ²² On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, ²³ and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, ²⁴ while our presentable parts need no special treatment. This is my answer

Do you know the church is NOT founded and held in place by apostles and prophets. It is founded on the supernatural Word brought through those servants which is the LivingChrist Himself. it is maintained in the Order in which Jesus lives and rules : the Melchizedek Order. If it was founded upon apostles and prophets I would have to ask them and phone them up to see whether I could eat baked beans for my tea tonight.

The verse Vic points out is right next to some clarifying verses to make it clear that verse 20 is not on its own in meaning.

1. We are fellow citizens. Right here, the entire edifice of the the Catholic and Anglican, and all subsequent frameworks crumble into dust. Fellow citizens. See Pagan Christianity by Frank Viola. And "Corinthian Elders" by Jack Fortenberry.

2.built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets. This clearly DOES NOT mean built on the apostles and the prophets. But built on the foundation they were used to bring in.
What's that?
Well the verse kindly says.
Jesus. The chief cornerstone.

So how does the Church grow?
The verse kindly says.
In Him, the whole building rises (simultaneously_ meaning) to become a holy temple...active sense...in the Lord...who ofcourse is a Living Lord.

And then if verse 21 could e construed as a bit waffly, Paul does what I do, and writes it out again in different words, so by taking the common threads of verse 21 and 22, there can be no doubt as to what he is saying.
verse 22 :And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Well, it's not quite the same. Verse 21 is about the "corporate". Verse 22 is about you as an individual...being built together...compacted with others...but In Him.
You can be compacted with others in the Name of Methodism. Or Anglicanism. But if it is not in Him. It just isnt the church. Because the church is supernatural, and moves entirely based upon and through the power of its relation with the Living Son of God.

But get them into the prophetic, they are hopelessly lost. You've got Evangelist Benjamin Bennet pulling people into the Kingdom, but try cornering him on Genesis 3 and in what way people really are screwed up, and how most Christians remain screwed up, he won't have a clue. He's never been anywhere near anyone that would know. That's what I'm saying. Everyone's adherence to what they call truth is the very Darkness keeping everyone apart .

- Chris Welch We build Christ the way we want him to be.Which is according to our personality traits and giftings. Christ is unfortunately the Risen Christ of revelation outside of boxes like spiritual, and material, being equally at home in ALL,simultaneously. What we are building unless in,by,of the Spirit is mere icons,idol worship. Jesus is the ALL in ALL or He is not Christ. He doesn't give us any choice in the matter.

Final Thought Before Press
So as I've been having my hernia op, which like my pyloric stenosis op is a physical picture of what is happening in the Body of Christ.
Namely moving from a Body that doesnt digest Word,to a Body that digests right through to physical manifestation.
The verse that says, in my mouth it tastes sweet as honey, but in my stomach is bitter.
Well the church has loved the sweet bit, and kept sicking it up with a bad case of bulimia, not realising you didnt need to be on some kind of "honey high" from repeatedly ingesting Word...
because as it says in John 7....if this drink is drunk properly, or if this meat is digested properly it has LIFE within itself....because it is Christ's OWN ETERNAL LIFE, welling up...err..er... as it says to eternity.
So during this period I've been looking at what the "sons of Issachar have had to say", who, as a more inwardly receiving kind of chap, would normally give short shrift to. And in that way I have said to them, because you are an eye, and perhaps I'm a stomach, I have no need of you.
But I've looked also at how, by NOT praying the Lord's prayer properly in the Spirit, by default, we are entertaining the same demons that continue quite happily murdering innocents and building the New World Order.
Then finally, we've seen , if this is the time of the capstone, then we had better take seriously how God builds His Body. No more excuses. So here's a final thought.
Ephesians 2:21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.
Notice how this virtually identical idea was reworked twice for further clarity in two verses, notice how despite this NOT ONE DENOMINATIONAL CHURCH, NOR ANY EVANGELICAL INDEPENDENTS, NOR ANY CHARISMATIC CHURCHES ANYWHERE ON THE GLOBE PAY A BLIND BIT OF NOTICE. They are all Pyramid operations ascribing an office to a ministry that cannot fundamentally handle such an office, since it is more a father caring role. The Kingdom is not a pyramid operation. It is a Kingdom of fellow citizens. What more must we say to Anglicans with cotton wool in their ears?

Ah..so I read Daniel Yordy's article on the capstone and understand things a bit clearer now!:
"The capstone, the goal of the gospel, the whole point of salvation, the thing we groan for with groanings too deep to be uttered, the goal we forsake everything to pursue, to seize hold of, is THREE facets all found in ONE experience. The first facet is you and I being conformed fully to all the fullness of Christ revealed for all to see. The second facet is you and I being filled with all the fullness and glory of Almighty God without hindrance or limitation. And the third facet is the transformation of our physical bodies - our present physical dying bodies being swallowed up in life and immortality.

All three of these facets are the same thing.

And Paul says that we groan for and long for and reach for and seize hold of this experience - the full salvation of our physical bodies.

God intends to prove His will in our bodies upon this earth. This is where it counts.

You die and go to heaven, and yes, you are with the Lord (but not one ounce more than you are right now) and blessed, but you are out of the picture as far as the goal of salvation is concerned, you have lost the most essential part of your being for salvation, your body, and you are now waiting until those who walk upon this earth see this thing through to the finish, and you, in heaven, continue to groan for and long for the same thing, the restoration of your physical body swallowed up in life and immortality"

Part of an ongoing Facebook conversation as and when between Daniel and I,this is a lovely section which sheds more light on what this Creation is really all about.

Daniel continues:Sorry I didn't answer you for a little while. I was just feeling a bit overwhelmed - and needing to get my business into the selling mode. (I haven't sold a Writing Unit yet, but everything's almost ready.) So I had to take a break from "issues" for a bit.
First, the problem with "The Trinity" is not that God the Father reveals Himself both through the Son and through the Spirit: He does. The problem is the definitions of God and man that come from Lucifer. However, "The Trinity" as a Christian doctrine is pushed, pushed, pushed, when a close look at the Apostle's argument is the opposite. Paul said "There is only one God, the Father, and one mediator between man and God, the Man, Christ Jesus." The argument of the New Testament is that Jesus was the revelation of God in the flesh, that is, as man. That is how Arius saw it and taught it. In fact, if you understood Arius, you would see that our understanding of the relationship between God and man is much closer to his than to Athanasius.

Hebrews says that God made man a little lower than the angels "messengers," but that's not what David said. David said that God made man a little lower than God.

But the revelation of Christ does not come from parsing one verse against another. The Bible is the testimony of many witnesses. Eye witness testimony MUST vary from one to the other to be considered accurate. If the testimonies of eyewitnesses are all the same, they are all thrown out of court as being fake. There is no contradiction in the Book of Mormon. Any amateur linguist can see that it was all written by one man - and thus the "testimony" of the various "books," being in perfect agreement, is false.

God manifest in the flesh means that all the little imperfections of man are inside the perfection of God. If 15 billion could all be the revelation of Christ and yet differing enormously one from the other, seeing and saying things different, even "disagreeing" vehemently, and still be Christ as us, that tells us that our definition of God as One who sits "above" is inaccurate.

Now, look carefully at Ephesians 5: I am flesh of His flesh. That's the Lord in His eternal state with the Father. Flesh is not a low and temporal aberration. Time is not something outside of the nature and being of God. It is Lucifer who despises man and denigrates him in every way. It is Lucifer who sees himself high and exalted.

In complete contradiction, God is always beneath. If you invite God to dinner, He always sits in the lowest place; He would never even think of taking the highest seat. At the same time, man is above, that is, he is the likeness and image of God. I saw recently the words, "Transcendence and Condescension." These are Catholic words, neither the words nor the concepts they represent are found in the New Testament. God did not "stoop down" to rescue "lowly man." God is always beneath. Man is always His revelation to both heaven and earth (that is, man in the tree of life, not man in the tree of knowledge).

It's a mistake to use the words of the Bible to defend the Augustinian, Catholic definitions of God and man. All those words of the Bible are there, but there to be seen through the eyes of the revelation of Christ, that is through God revealing Himself through flesh. Augustine did not believe in the revelation of Christ, nor did Athanasius. Arius did, that's why they destroyed him.

I do not believe that Jesus "became" flesh for a moment of time. That is, He was first "not flesh," then He "became flesh" inside of time, then He is "no longer flesh." That's impossible; He is the same, yesterday, today, and forever. Rather, God manifest in the physical half of His creation is Jesus, the Son of God. The physical half of God's creation is not evil, nor is it "low." It is 100% equal to the spiritual half of God's creation in all ways. Time is not outside of God; time is God showing up in the physical side of His creation. Time is the eternal touching half of the works of God's hands.

You see, we have to comprehend the weight of Lucifer's hatred of man sitting upon all definitions of man found, especially, in Christianity. That hatred of man is the foundation of Augustine's definition of "the Trinity."

When Jesus quoted David saying, The Lord said to my Lord, what was happening there was the very opposite of Augustine's definition of "God the Son." Jesus was a man, claiming that God reveals Himself as He really is through "lowly" man. The Pharisees killed Jesus for that "heretical" claim. Augustine would have killed Him as well. When David said, The Lord said to my Lord, he was showing the incredible revelation of God through MAN - that is, through the flesh and blood child of David. This mind that demands an "exalted" God cannot stand God as a lowly man.

The difference is how we see. As long as we have that false definition of a "transcendent" God "condescending" to deign to dirty His high fingers by touching despicable man, a definition pushed with savagery by Augustine, then we spend our effort using the words of Scripture to defend Augustine instead of seeing all things through God made manifest in the flesh, that is Christ Jesus, the Son of Man, revealed as us in this world. Our imperfection (not sin) is God's perfection.

God is always beneath; Lucifer is the one who places himself "above." The picture of Jesus stumbling beneath His cross is the highest moment of God revealed in all creation. We can have no higher picture of God as He really is than that.

Last week I went into hospital to have keyhole surgery on my hernia bulge. Thirty years of lifting pianos up on end. In the end there was an additional repair to a piece of bowel that had torn open unbeknown to me and fused to my stomach wall. So, keyhole surgery was not possible, a larger cut had to be made and a thorough repair , but this means more convalescence time.
I get the impression I've been preserved the life threatening danger of fecal matter oozing into my body, without me knowing anything of the danger.
